2011 Mazda MX-5 Super20

Here’s a vehicle that may be sporting an orange and black combination, but has nothing to do with the spooky and wicked Halloween season. This is the Mazda MX-5 Super20 , a vehicle whose name may sound a bit familiar due to Mazda’s entry into SEMA last year. The 2010 Super20 was created to celebrate the MX-5’s 20th anniversary, but this year, Mazda decided to bring a 2.0 version of that same vehicle with a killer paint job and a load of accessories.

The 2011 Mazda MX-5 Super20 features a Hyper Orange Mica exterior paint finish with black stripes to soften the bright blow. The paint job is topped off with a stationary, glossy black hardtop to replace the vehicle’s standard soft-top. The interior has also been modified and now features a color-matched roll bar and black leather seats with suede seat inserts and channel and orange contrast stitching.

The Super20 was also privy to a few performance modifications, such as a DPTune reflashed ECU, a Racing Beat 304-stainless steel header and exhaust, and Racing Beat hollow front and rear anti-roll bars. These features were joined by an ACT organic street clutch, MazdaSpeed coil overs and a shock tower brace, Power Slot slotted brake rotors, StopTech stainless steel brake lines and street performance brake pads, and SpeedSource front brake ducts. The MX-5 Super20 was finished with black 16-inch Enkei RPF1 twin-spoke racing wheels, Toyo Proxes RA-1 245/45ZR16 high-performance tires, and 20mm H&R Track+ bolt-on wheel spacers in the rear and 15mm Sparco wheel spacers in the front.

From the looks of things, we think Mazda threw together the Super20 last year and decided to really work hard this year to present a Super20 worthy of being called a celebratory vehicle.

UPDATE 11/07/2011: We have added new images of the MX-5 Super20 from the SEMA Auto Show. Check them out in the gallery provided!

The shade of yellow in this MX-5 was nice. The headlamps are quite perfect for the hot look of this Mazda car. The interior is spacious even though it doesn’t look like in the outer view.

Yeah! Me too! I love it on the color of yellow. smiley I’m just only hoping that they use an impressive and efficient engine for this race car of them!

I love the yellow version of this Mazda MX-5! smiley Anyway, the black leather seats of this one, is seems so comfortable, and I’m glad that they didn’t forget to put some safety features on it.

I love the way how they finish the exterior paint on this one with a black stripe! I also noticed that its color-matched roll bar on its interior is truly very striking. However, I wonder if what will really be the engine specs of it?

I wonder if why they called this one a celebratory vehicle? Anyway, I can say that I love the killer paint job on this race car, and I’m glad that the interior touch of it, is only matched to its exterior.

It looks so cute and striking on its platform and to its other detailing, but I hope that they add also some entertaining technologies on its interior, and I think it is much better if they use a more alive interior touch.

I really love Mazda cars! Well, I can say that this one is very striking on its looks. However, they are right that they need to boost the engine of their cars, so that we can say that it is already a complete packaged.

I have to agree that this new model of Mazda is already looking great on its body paint even if it’s on a matte color. Well, this one is obviously a race car. I just only hope that they will surely use an engine that is so suited on it.

I must say that the orange and black body paint combination on this car is really great and adds more appeal on this Super 20 of Mazda. I just only noticed that its interior is not so impressive unlike what its exterior had.
