2014 McLaren MP4-12C GT 2+2

McLaren has made no bones about its desire to release a supercar that would give the Porsche 911 a run for its money. Ron Dennis, McLaren’s CEO, has already laid out plans for such a car, although the Woking-based manufacturer has not provided any details in the way of the proposed supercar’s technical details. Nevertheless, that hasn’t stopped people from the endless games of speculation as far as creating renderings of the car. And yes, so we found a rendering for the future McLaren that seems to fit the bill.

This softer core McLaren is seen with 2+2 seats enabling the driver to ride along with a few of his friends while still maintaining some of the classic McLaren components and body parts. This rendering provides a classic McLaren vehicle with the additional 2 seats that currently sets the Porsche apart. We do not believe we will be seeing the future McLaren any sooner than 2013, but we hope they can get moving on it a bit sooner.

The future McLaren MP4-12C GT is codenamed the P13 and will be introduced in 2014. McLaren is aiming towards selling 2500 units per year.

UPDATE 10/28/2011: We have a new rendering for you for McLaren’s response to the Porsche 911. Enjoy!

I think it is a good thing that Mclaren now offers a 4-seater sports car. Well, you can now bring you friends along. Speaking with the size of the car, Mclaren can still make the car sexy even if it is has 4 seats.

Well, I don’t think that it will ruin the body of this car since the same thing goes with the Ferrari FF. At first, everyone has been doubting the outcome of this concept but just look at the status of this car. It’s already sold out for 2011.

A four seater McLaren? Oh no! Does it mean that they are going to make a wider version for this car? I want the sleeker body of the current McLaren, and I don’t want to see how its huge changes ruined thee sexiness of this car!

The actual MP4-12C features a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 that makes 600 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque.

Love it! Would be so awesome if McLaren actually entered a race version of the MP4-12C into motor racing.

Well I like the body trim, so sleek and sexy. I bet many will choose it rather than the Lamborghini and Ferrari.

Well good thing that they’ve also think of the friends’ owners.

Well now that is one good shot and one good original design. See most of the supercars that I see today kinda feels like they have been from one or two supercars combined together. I hope that they put it in production soon and that these car be more affordable than other super cars.

I hope you can beat Porsche. Anyway, you have a very nice model but I doubt if you can beat Porsche.

It seems to me that it was a collaboration of lotus evora with side air vents of lamborghini with a body trim of Ferrari.
