McLaren has made no bones about its desire to release a supercar that would give the Porsche 911->ke282 a run for its money. Ron Dennis, McLaren’s CEO, has already laid out plans for such a car, although the Woking-based manufacturer has not provided any details in the way of the proposed supercar's technical details. Nevertheless, that hasn't stopped people from the endless games of speculation as far as creating renderings of the car. And yes, so we found a rendering for the future McLaren->ke284 that seems to fit the bill.

This softer core McLaren is seen with 2+2 seats enabling the driver to ride along with a few of his friends while still maintaining some of the classic McLaren components and body parts. This rendering provides a classic McLaren vehicle with the additional 2 seats that currently sets the Porsche apart. We do not believe we will be seeing the future McLaren any sooner than 2013, but we hope they can get moving on it a bit sooner.

The future McLaren MP4-12C GT is codenamed the P13 and will be introduced in 2014. McLaren is aiming towards selling 2500 units per year.

UPDATE 10/28/2011: We have a new rendering for you for McLaren's response to the Porsche 911. Enjoy!
