Mercedes revealed the official video of the 2008 ConceptFASCINATION that will make its official debut at the Paris Auto Show and previews the next generation E-Class. Under the hood Mercedes placed an engine that should be available globally in the future E-Class Coupe: a new four-cylinder diesel engine, which features BlueTEC and AdBlue technology and develops 204 hp from a displacement of 2.2 litres.

Mercedes will unveil at the Paris Auto Show the ConceptFASCINATION, which will preview the design of the future generation E-Class. Under the hood Mercedes placed an engine that should be available globally in the future E-Class Coupe: a new four-cylinder diesel engine, which features BlueTEC and AdBlue technology and develops 204 hp from a displacement of 2.2 litres.
The ConceptFASCINATION front end is expected to also be the face of the production model. It has the E-Class’ hallmark quad headlights, and Mercedes says that the rhomboid shape is the future of the model. Other elements from the design study that are expected to make it into production include the "V" themed shape as well as parts of the interior design including the dashboard.
Although this is a preview car, there are still some elements that are likely not to make it into production. This includes the integrated humidor, refrigerator, hideaway glass picnic table, panoramic glass roof and pillarless windows.
