Although many of you folks may not know about the German tuning house Chrometec, the kit you will see for the Mercedes SLK will definitely remain in your mind. The stylish kit gives a plus of sporty looks to the vehicle. Including a new front bumper, new side sills and a really beautiful rear bumper with carbon fiber air diffuser, the kit is completed by a new exhaust system, which gives the engine a new sound. Also, in order to confer better handling new stylish 20” alloy wheels were added. No words about the price yet!
Everybody knows that the Mercedes SLK is already a chic vehicle but with the new customization program from Inden Design the German vehicle shows even more sportivity. The new kit features a re-designed front bumper with new fog lamps and rear bumper featuring an air diffuser with integrated exhaust system.
In order to improve the handling of the car a new suspension kit that lowers the vehicle with up to 30 millimeters was added together with 19 inch alloy wheels. The sound of the engine was also improved due to the new AMG exhaust system.

With the delivery of the 500,000th vehicle since its market launch in 1996, Mercedes-Benz has now reached another milestone with the successful SLK compact roadster. All in all, about 310,000 customers opted for a model from the first generation of this dynamic two-seater, and its successor has now sold 190,000 units since its market launch in March 2004.

Thanks to innovative technology such as the vario-roof and the neck-level heating system AIRSCARF, the SLK has long been recognized as a cult car of modern times,” expains Dr. Klaus Maier, Executive Vice President Mercedes-Benz Cars, responsible for Sales and Marketing. “The new-generation SLK models, which we are delivering to customers since April 2008, are sportier than ever. I’m confident that the dynamic looks and performance of the new SLK will again set pulses racing among sports cars enthusiasts around the world.”
Due to the recently launch of the face-lifted Mercedes SLK, Brabus unveiled its new version of the little coupe cabriolet. Powered by a 6.1 liter V8 engine capable of delivering 445 hp the car can sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds while the top speed is of 305 km/h.
For the updated SLK Brabus offers various alloy wheels with diameters of 17, 18 and 19 inches. The vehicle features specially calibrated suspensions, lowering the car by 30 millimeters in order to make the car more stable at high speeds.
On the inside, the German tuner offers highly polished stainless-steel scuff plates with illuminated Brabus logo, Mastik leather and Alcantara and a special designed speedometer with 330 km/h dial.
As usual, Brabus bring nice and clean style with unrestricted top speed.

Mercedes SLK facelift will be unveiled at Frankfurt Motor Show in September. The SLK will feature a Formula-One nose to mimic the front end design of Mercedes’ quite successful silver arrows F1 racers. It will also feature slightly modified taillights and newly shaped front air-intakes.

Mercedes is preparing a facelift for the SLK roadster that will be unveiled in 2008. The third generation SLK will be internally named R172 and like any roadster will feature a foldable hardtop option.

Even more alluring, more powerful and sportier than ever, the beguiling two-seater is due to celebrate its European market premiere in March 2004. Three dif-ferent engine variants are available for the new car, developing from 120 kW/163 hp to 265 kW/360 hp.
