MEC Design has unveiled a new look for the old S-Class. The styling package will go with the W221 pre-facelift Mercedes luxury sedan. Created for a customer in Germany, the 2007 S550 looks nearly identical to the S65 AMG. The only thing that might give the car away are it’s lack of LED turn signals in the headlamps and LED daytime running lights in the front bumper. The MEC team installed AMG bumpers, 20-inch wheels, an ELS lowering module and a high performance exhaust system. Inside the Mercedes, the cabin has a MEC designed steering wheel and floor mats with leather edging. We have no idea how much it cost the owner, but we can only guess it sure wasn’t cheap. .

 I think AMG should sue for Defamation of Character. People are going to see this stuff on the street and believe it’s an honest S65, then when some guy in a slightly hopped up pickup truck spanks the hell out of one at a stoplight drag race people will think AMG makes slow cars
 Why keep the S63 moniker? Why not change it to S55? I hate it when companies stray from their naming conventions - especially when they make sense. BMW is terrible for that.
