2010 Mercedes SL 63 AMG Shadow Line by Vilner

Having a Mercedes SL63 AMG in your garage is already reason enough for your neighbors to feel supremely jealous of you. But what if you had a way to knock that ‘envy meter’ up a few more notches? Would you do it?

If you answered ‘yes’, then we have the perfect interior styling program for you. Courtesy of the folks from Vilner is this new styling program called the SL63 AMG Shadow Line.

Among the upgrades included in the Vilner Shadow Line program includes a steering wheel that’s been outfitted with thicker hand-stitched light gray perforated leather. The sports car’s doors were also given a red perforated leather treatment with an ornamental design on the door handles, which, incidentally can also be found on the car’s center armrest and at the back of the headrest. The seats were also dressed in the same black and red color scheme with a headrest dressed in leather with white stitching and accompanied by an embroidered ‘Shadow Line’ name on it.

The changes are minimal compared to what we’ve seen from Vilner in the past. But when it comes to interior styling, the company’s ‘Shadow Line’ package just might be the answer you’re looking for if you ever decide to give your SL63 AMG a classy and beautiful dress-up.

Actually yes, I’m impressed with the aggressive and sporty look of this car but when talking about the engine performance it’s not that good at all. BTW, I love the gullwing of the SLS!

It doesn’t look "evil". It’s too ugly to look evil OR good. It’s just a poorly designed car, much like most of the current Mercedes line of vehicles. The proportions of the gullwing are amateur leaving the only thing of any interest under its skin being the engine.

The AMG is a much more expensive car, and probably a better performer. I’m sure that I would enjoy driving it if I won the lottery.

clearly Halloween came a little early in Australia with a $99.95 MAACO paint job. if only this car came in manual

is it just me, or isn’t that the same color as the M3 GTS press car that came out a few months back?

The backseat is deleted, making this a pure two-seater. Furthermore, the 450-hp MC Stradale won’t be sold in the U.S. Not exactly in this guise
anyway.

the modification kit that only plays with the vehicle’s interior. Vilner, a tuner that comes from Bulgaria, is offering a new identity to the SL 63 AMG’s cabin.

the program offers a two tone leather finish, using black and red for the seats and the door panels. We have to mention that we are talking about special perforated leather here.

I’m crazy about wide convertibles! Not suited for all climates if you do not own an garage, but perfect for warm areas! Not too warm though!

AMG always has made cool changes to Mercedes cars but this SL 63 is awesome. Not too crazy about the red elements from the interior.

I want more technical information about this beauty!

Unfortunately Mercedes was never good of providing a timeless looking car. The only one is the new SLS, but aside this, their cars are always trendy at launch, and after they are 5 years old, they are so easy to ignore on the street...

well the engine is also revamped and added some modes for the company...

the rest of the vehicle has been left untouched. However, those in need of attention will be able to received it as the vehicle’s topless nature allows you to share the interior with the world.
