2010 Mercedes SLS AMG by Domanig Autodesign

What is so special about this SLS AMG, besides the fact that it’s red? Well how about a few exterior upgrades and no less than 600 HP under the hood thanks to a tuning package by German tuner Domanig Autodesign? Were we able to get your attention?

This particular package comes with a few exterior upgrades to further sharpen the SLS AMG. They include a new rear valance and exhaust tips, a new set of 20" wheels painted in red and wrapped in 265/30ZR20 tires, and a suspension lift system. The tuner is also offering a new adjustable KW suspension combined with an HLS hydraulic lift system that can raise or drop the car by 30mm with the push of a button.

Of course, the biggest changes were made under the hood. We already know that in its standard version the SLS AMG develops a total of 571 hp and up to 650 Nm of torque. Domanig modified the engine control unit and added a new exhaust system with sport catalysts in order to obtain a total of 600 HP. This is still 20hp short of the SLS AMG created by Kicherer, but their SLS is painted in a matte black as opposed to this vivacious red. Is it a trade-off consumers are willing to make? Well, considering the rest of the packages are closely related, we would think that the 20 extra horsepower may not make that much of a difference.
