Ever since its official launch, the Mercedes SLS AMG has been on the receiving end of many tuning packages; some of them impressive, some not so much. Today is no exception as we have yet another new tuning package for the Merc from FAB Design. The only thing is, we're not too sure about this tuning kit. Fab juiced up the engine, that we get, but the look of the car just isn't right. They replaced the front and rear bumpers with new, specially designed ones, and the end result seems questionable.

Next to the odd bumpers, FAB Design also added a front spoiler lip, side skirts, a hood scoop, tail spoiler, new diffuser, and tailpipes, as well as a new set of 20" wheels.

As for the engine updates, the 570 HP output has been increased to a total of 610 HP. This will improve the sprint from 0 to 60 mph by 0.1 seconds. Not much, but still an improvement.

All in all, we have to say that we aren't too pleased with this package, especially considering that there is a perfectly good package from German tuner, Kicherer, that puts out an extra 10hp than the one from FAB, and it doesn't have weird bumpers to top it off.
