The Mercedes CL63 AMG already offers plenty of what customers look for in a sports car: aggressive design, powerful engine, and a Mercedes "Silver Arrows" logo. But if enough just isn't enough for you, then German tuning firm, Vath, is offering a new performance package for the CL63 AMG that will leave smiles on your faces and holes in your pockets.

Before getting into the performance upgrade, Vath added a few exterior and interior modifications. There's a carbon fiber body kit that includes a radiator cover, a rear diffuser, and a boot lid spoiler. The car also gets a new set of 20" lightweight alloy wheels wrapped in 255/35 ZR20 tires at the front and 255/35 ZR20 tires at the back. As for the interior, Vath is offering a number of options, including plenty of leather and trim choices.

Then there's the performance package. Using their new V63S tuning kit and software upgrade plus an ECU remap, Vath was able to take the CL63 AMG's 5.5-liter twin turbo V8 engine and bump up the output from 536 horsepower and 590 lb/ft of torque all the way up to a staggering 630 horsepower and 686 lb/ft of torque. These numbers translate to a faster 0-62 mph time of just 4.3 seconds and an increased top speed of 187 mph, up from the standard model's electronically limited top speed of 155 mph.
