2011 Mercedes E-Class Coupe by Prior Design

With an elegant and refined base such as the Mercedes E-Class Coupe creating a masterful interpretation of the vehicle is as easy as selling an original Van Gogh painting. Sadly, the Cabrio has been receiving most of the attention this year, with tuning firms such as Piecha and Carlsson running towards the drop top version of the luxury vehicle. Prior Design, however, have provided a brand new tuning kit for the 2010 Mercedes E-Class Coupe that will add an impressive body kit and some engine updates ready to increase the car’s power by up to 75hp.

The front of the Merc has been given a new bumper with side vents and a spoiler blade. On the sides of the car, Prior Design added a set of side sills before heading to the back for a rear bumper extension with three fins, a spoiler lip for the boot, and a roof edge spoiler, all available in carbon fiber as an option. The look is completed by a new set of 20" wheels offered in matte black, gloss black, and silver. After adding all of these components, Prior Design went ahead and dropped the ride by about 35mm and then sprinkled the interior with a range of carbon fiber trimmings. Rounding off the tuning kit is a choice of either a tail pipe on the left or a complete sports 4-pipe exhaust system in stainless steel. This option, plus some ECU modifications, can raise the output by up to 75hp, depending on the version of the car.

The full kit adds up to about EUR 5,116, or about $6,684 using the current rates, but each piece can be purchased individually.

The designers at PRIOR DESIGN have come up trumps just in time for the New Year with a customised body kit for the new E-Class Coupé. The front of what is fundamentally a very elegant coupé has been given a new bumper with side vents and a spoiler blade. A set of side sills that, from a visual perspective, perfectly connect the car’s front and rear have been used to create the impression of a lowered outline. At the back there is a rear bumper extension with three fins, a spoiler lip for the boot, and a roof edge spoiler, with all three components also available in genuine carbon fibre as an option.

The visual effect is greatly enhanced by the new PRIOR GT wheel rims, fitted as 8.5 x 20-inch wheels at the front and 9.5 x 20-inch wheels at the rear. Together with the in-house lowering by 35 millimetres, they ensure that the wheel arches are filled perfectly. The PRIOR GT rims are available in matt black, gloss black and silver.

With regard to the exhaust system, the customer has the choice between a tail pipe on the left and a complete sports 4-pipe exhaust system in stainless steel. The exhaust system is, of course, MADE IN GERMANY, as are all the other parts of the body kit.

It is also worth mentioning that all the parts of this conversion kit also fit the convertible version of the E-Class. PRIOR DESIGN offers a range of trim parts in carbon for the interior.

PRIOR DESIGN offers various increased performance options on site of up to 55 kW / 75 bhp depending on the engine version.

E-Class coupe is oozing with awesomeness and despite of having a simple image, it still have a classy appearance because of its color, it really suited on this coupe.

Aside from the awesome interior. Those rear quarter looks like a Hyundai.
Hence, the current generation is elegant and so masculine!

Well, congratulation to Mercedes for this E-class Coupe its extremely gorgeous and I love every part of this car!

While I don’t agree with the Accord comments... the CTS Coupe does look WAY better than this. The current CLK is elegant, a little feminine but still elegant. And if the interior will resemble the one in the new E, it’ll be too angular for such a luxury car.

The current gen is classic and elegant, and this one is much more masculine and in your face. I like both for different reasons.

The full kit adds up to about EUR 5,116, or about $6,684 using the current rates, but each piece can be purchased individually. It is a good price?

so much of the glamorous design. The front of the Mercedes has been given a new bumper with side vents and a spoiler blade. So terrific!

well I agree with you who in the world will hate this car? this baby is very rare and unique for sure you can see this one only once in a blue moon.

f you didn’t like the Piecha body kit for your Mercedes E coupe or convertible, Prior Design might be able to phase you! This is a new package they’ve designed for the E-Coupe (which also fits the Convertible) called the Black Desire and it’s magnificent. A large part of that magnificence is due to the outstanding design of the base car.

This is the worst company I have ordered parts from. Wrong invoice! Release my purchases to authorized freight forwarder! Refuse to take my calls on 12/30/2010! There are many better companies to buy parts from! If you want to be frustrated and MAD, buy from this ty GERMAN company!

what i like is the Customers also have a choice between a tail pipe on the left and a complete sports 4-pipe exhaust system in stainless steel. All parts also fit the convertible version of the E-Class. For the interior tuner offers a range of trim parts in carbon.

E class different target group? The size is similar to the A5, power output is similar, the base A5 ain’t a road leech like the S5/RS5 is anyway.

The visual effect is greatly enhanced by the new PRIOR GT wheel rims, fitted as 8.5 x 20-inch wheels at the front and 9.5 x 20-inch wheels at the rear. Together with the in-house lowering by 35 millimetres, they ensure that the wheel arches are filled perfectly.

the interior looks so simple the only thing i like about it is the hand made trim of the interior seats.
