With an elegant and refined base such as the Mercedes E-Class Coupe creating a masterful interpretation of the vehicle is as easy as selling an original Van Gogh painting. Sadly, the Cabrio has been receiving most of the attention this year, with tuning firms such as Piecha and Carlsson running towards the drop top version of the luxury vehicle. Prior Design, however, have provided a brand new tuning kit for the 2010 Mercedes E-Class Coupe that will add an impressive body kit and some engine updates ready to increase the car’s power by up to 75hp. The front of the Merc has been given a new bumper with side vents and a spoiler blade. On the sides of the car, Prior Design added a set of side sills before heading to the back for a rear bumper extension with three fins, a spoiler lip for the boot, and a roof edge spoiler, all available in carbon fiber as an option. The look is completed by a new set of 20" wheels offered in matte black, gloss black, and silver. After adding all of these components, Prior Design went ahead and dropped the ride by about 35mm and then sprinkled the interior with a range of carbon fiber trimmings. Rounding off the tuning kit is a choice of either a tail pipe on the left or a complete sports 4-pipe exhaust system in stainless steel. This option, plus some ECU modifications, can raise the output by up to 75hp, depending on the version of the car. The full kit adds up to about EUR 5,116, or about $6,684 using the current rates, but each piece can be purchased individually. Press release after the jump. Press release The designers at PRIOR DESIGN have come up trumps just in time for the New Year with a customised body kit for the new E-Class Coupé. Following on from their body kit for the CLK W209, the designers from Kamp-Lintfort have now come up with further impressive evidence of their exceptionally skilled eye for the sporting contours and perfect proportions of cars of the Mercedes-Benz marque. The front of what is fundamentally a very elegant coupé has been given a new bumper with side vents and a spoiler blade. A set of side sills that, from a visual perspective, perfectly connect the car’s front and rear have been used to create the impression of a lowered outline. At the back there is a rear bumper extension with three fins, a spoiler lip for the boot, and a roof edge spoiler, with all three components also available in genuine carbon fibre as an option. With regard to the exhaust system, the customer has the choice between a tail pipe on the left and a complete sports 4-pipe exhaust system in stainless steel. The exhaust system is, of course, MADE IN GERMANY, as are all the other parts of the body kit. Prices

Hence, the current generation is elegant and so masculine!
Well, congratulation to Mercedes for this E-class Coupe its extremely gorgeous and I love every part of this car!
While I don’t agree with the Accord comments... the CTS Coupe does look WAY better than this. The current CLK is elegant, a little feminine but still elegant. And if the interior will resemble the one in the new E, it’ll be too angular for such a luxury car.
The current gen is classic and elegant, and this one is much more masculine and in your face. I like both for different reasons.
The full kit adds up to about EUR 5,116, or about $6,684 using the current rates, but each piece can be purchased individually. It is a good price?
so much of the glamorous design. The front of the Mercedes has been given a new bumper with side vents and a spoiler blade. So terrific!
well I agree with you who in the world will hate this car? this baby is very rare and unique for sure you can see this one only once in a blue moon.
f you didn’t like the Piecha body kit for your Mercedes E coupe or convertible, Prior Design might be able to phase you! This is a new package they’ve designed for the E-Coupe (which also fits the Convertible) called the Black Desire and it’s magnificent. A large part of that magnificence is due to the outstanding design of the base car.
This is the worst company I have ordered parts from. Wrong invoice! Release my purchases to authorized freight forwarder! Refuse to take my calls on 12/30/2010! There are many better companies to buy parts from! If you want to be frustrated and MAD, buy from this ty GERMAN company!
