2011 Mercedes SLR by Wheelsandmore

Earlier today we brought news of a Wheelsandmore tuning package for the Mercedes SLS AMG , now it’s time for its ancestor to get our attention. Well, actually, it got the attention of the very same tuner, who seems to show the same interest for the old McLaren SLR , both the standard and the SLR 722 S .

Out of the two vehicles featured, the most impressive package belongs to the 722 S version, where the addition of optimized control electronics, a change in compression ratio, and a completely hand-made, improved exhaust system with radio remote-controlled exhaust valves, the vehicle’s output is increased to an impressive 730 HP (up from standard 650 HP). However, the increase for the standard SLR isn;t too shabby either with a bump to 680hp. Top speed for the 722 S is now 213 mph and 211 mph for the standard SLR.

Next to these amazing engine upgrades, the tuner is also offering a racing chassis, new 20" in-house forged wheels, and carbon fiber components for the interior.

Wheelsandmore Bentley Continental? What’s next, Discount Tire Bugatti Veyron?

This might just be blacker than the Carbon DBS.I feel like I’m looking straight into a black hole, I can’t look away.

I’ve driven these in Europe and they are truly the best utility vehicle on the planet, at least IMHO. Please clarify.

Regarding the E class wagon, your wording is confusing. Will they offer the wagon with the diesel engine??

yup you can’t shift the forward to reverse quickly you need to stop the car until you can shift... but the main purpose of the CCT is for faster acceleration and remove the hop of the gear while transferring to a lower gear..

the new gearbox is a dual-clutch automated manual transmission that will shift gears by itself or at the driver’s command. it simply means it needs to be fully stop before shifting the gear into reverse.

the engine doesn’t just sit low; it also sits behind the front axle line, an arrangement that is partially responsible for the SLS’s claimed 48 percent/52 percent front/rear weight distribution.

Impressive, i tought they’ve already kill the SLR.. well good thing that it hasn’t, but it looks almost the same as the old SLR.

Well, it has the attention of even the same tuner, which seems to show the same concern for the old 2011 Mercedes SLR by Wheelsandmore, both standard and the SLR 722 S.

Wheelsandmore have put together a new tuning program for the Mercedes SLS AMG which include various styling features, an ECU upgrade, a new exhaust and improved suspension.

yes before the Mercedes SLR is the fastest car around. but of course Great and fast car is always meant to be beaten by another one for the record and pride.

Good to hear that SLR is not dead! I remember the days when it was the most expensive car. Now the insanity of the producers have created the Bugatti, Aston Martin and soon more to come.

The wheels are too slim for all the drifting I’m dreaming of doing with this baby!

Black and silver look so good! Just a piece of beauty. However not sure why they painted the breaks in red. That part is getting to much attention and it shouldn’t!

Same old same old. Some new some new! The hp addition is always welcome, but I think these tuning companies need a newer base from Mercedes smiley

they’ve enhance the suspension, brake rotors, and re furnished the interiors, but honestly I really don’t like the red one here.

Nothing changed much with the base look except for the side air vent and twin side muffler. and it looks great with those set of rims.
