2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS Black Bison by Wald International

  Review

Japanese tuner, Wald International, is taking one idea and turning it into about 20 with its ongoing Black Bison tuning packages. We’ve seen this package added to all kinds of vehicles, from the Lexus LX570 to the BMW 5-Series F10 and back to the Lexus LS600h. It’s a regular dark-as-night themed soiree at Wald International and the next vehicle to be invited is the new generation Mercedes CLS-Class

As the name of the package suggests, the Mercedes CLS Black Bison is all about the black, inside and out. Aside from that, the CLS also gets upgraded with LED daytime running lights, sport front fenders, side skirts, a rear bumper with LED brake lights, new exhaust tips, and new trunk and roof spoilers. The package sits on a special set of wheels painted in black with a design specially created for the new CLS.

For the interior, the tuner offers black leather for the front and rear seats, a limited set of bespoke floor mats, a three-spoke steering wheel, and new technologies added for a better comfort.

The only other feature Wald International seems to have added is a lowered suspension, which means no changes were made under the hood. Not that we expected any, though. None of the other Black Bison packages have had any power boosts so why would they stray from the formula? That being said, the 2012 Mercedes CLS-Class is already sporting a new 402-hp twin-turbo V-8 so changing it at this point would be jumping the gun just a bit.

Updated 11/30/2011: Today we have added new images of the Mercedes CLS Black Bison by Wald International. Enjoy!

I’m so impressed with the exclusivity of this vehicle, and I have to agree that it really looks very cool on that body paint. I just only hope that it would also have an awesome interior feature.

It looks so sophisticated and classy with its sleek body paint and even though its platform seems ordinary. Moreover, I’m glad that they use an upgraded engine on this vehicle, which is really fun to drive with.

You can’t flowery the appearance of this CLS Black edition in an ordinary car. Obviously the looks of this car are very luxurious and so sophisticated.

It’s very dark but surprisingly it’s never boring.. It’s color makes it elegant but the body design makes it look sporty. A very good combination.

Looks like a drug dealers car.

Wow. The car is pure dark thus it looks dangerous and interesting. It makes me think that it is hiding something. However, they did not change the suspension and the engine power of the car. I think much better if they upgrade the performance of the car.

IMO, I don’t think that this car is as elegant as the other production of Mercedes. I have the rear lip of the car! Fora tuned up version the engine upgrade is the most important.

I would prefer the standard version of the car. I don’t like the modified aerodynamic kit of the vehicle. The speed performance of the car is impressive of its twin turbo engine produced a 400+ hp.
