Usually, when a Mercedes S-Class->ke359 gets a little work done to it, it is at the hands of Brabus. Not in this case! Lorinser has just dropped a tuning package called the S70, which is based on the S600.

The standard Merc S600 is powered by a powerful V12 engine that produces 510 HP. Lorinser got in there to install a power kit that pushes that output up to 805 HP! This impressive Power Kit includes a larger turbocharger, a free-flow exhaust system, and a reinforced rear axle, as well as the obligatory ECU mapping. As a result, the engine now delivers the aforementioned 805 hp and a peak torque of 936 lbs-ft between 1900-4200 rpm. Top speed comes electronically limited to 186 mph, but it can be increased to 205 mph upon request.

The exterior kit includes a new front air dam (with LED and PTS), a new rear bumper, side skirts, and a rear lip and roof spoiler. The car sits on a new set of 20" multi-part light-alloy wheels painted in matte-black. The interior is wrapped in Nappa leather in Maybach Zeppelin-look combined with wood in black piano lacquer.

We saw a package similar to this in early 2011 when Speedriven puts its own twist on the S600. That package let out 695 horsepower and 840 lb/ft of torque, but Lorinser's package eclipses that. The only thing left to see is how much this upgrade is going to set us back.
