2012 Mercedes SLS AMG by HMS Tuning

Some people just have higher standards than others. For those people that belong in this group, you can point to a standard Mercedes SLS AMG and bemuse at the supecar’s 563-horsepower and say that it isn’t enough. Fortunately for them, there’s a tuning company like HMS Tuning that can satisfy their unquenchable thirst for speed and power.

The Malterdingen-based tuning company has taken a stock SLS AMG and given the performance upgrade it deserves. The program utilizes HMS Tuning’s Xtra Power Supercharger, an intake manifold, an uprated oil pump, an additional ECU to control boost and fueling, sports air filter, and complete exhaust system which includes 4-1 manifolds, 200 CPI Sports Cats and valve control, and a newly developed forced induction program for the Mercedes supercar’s 6.2-liter V8 engine. This intensive modification program provides the SLS AMG with a nasty 720 horsepower and 614 lb/ft of torque, up from the stock 563 horsepower and 479 lb/ft of torque.

That kind of output - 720 ponies! - is the kind that makes a supercar like the SLS AMG into a rocket on two wheels.

HMS should always be allowed to refurnish Mercedes models’ exteriors.

How’s it to feel to drive a car with a speed like that?

HMS Tuning is like given the right to Mercedes cars because of their good modification.

How many Mercedes tuned by HMS Tuning? As far as I know there were a lot and all of that is one of the best Mercedes units.

HMS Tuning’s upgrade was at its best already.

So far, HMS is doing good on SLS. I think they have done the best part of it already.

It’s the best tuning ever by HMS Tuning.

I want to know HMS Tuning’s secret on being capable of upgrading it to such a great extent. Not all tuning companies are able to do this.

HMS Tuning has been added to my list of great tuners. I didn’t expect them to enhance its performance capability that high.

I wonder what kind of modification HMS Tuning has done to its engine. The other tuning companies can even only add small differences, but this is unbelievably high.

I can’t quite believe that it’s been tuned up to that extent; I need to see the two versions --- modified and untouched --- on the tracks.

It’s a major rise on its power; I wonder what it does on its speed too.

That was a drastic increase! I want to see the original and the tuned versions perform so I can actually see the difference.

The tuning has unbelievably done a massive improvement on its power. I didn’t think it was possible, but HMS Tuning has proven that it is.

The 563HP that the Mercedes SLS AMG can exert originally is enough for me. I think HMS Tuning just wanted to prove themselves that’s why they have persistently tuned it to make it able to perform up to 720HP. Well, let’s see how far and fast their tuning can take this car.
