You can always count on Mansory to have more than just one aftermarket program offering whenever a major auto show rolls around.
While not as, shall we say, grandiose, as the other projects it has at Frankfurt, the luxury sports sedan still receives the benefit of being worked on by Mansory, which is regarded as one of the best in the business.
Aesthetic, aerodynamic and performance upgrades are being offered, beginning with the use of autoclave-prepreg carbon fiber on a variety of components on the body. The hood of the CLS 63 AMG is especially new, providing both a visual and aerodynamic improvement to the overall profile of the car. New side-sill sets and cladding allows the sedan to gain some width — around 50 mm on the front axle and 80 mm on the rear.
Speaking of the back, Mansory installed a new diffuser under the equally new rear apron, allowing for a harmonious working relationship with the rear spoiler to increase the sports coupe’s down-thrust.
Rounding out the mod list for the exterior is a new set of 20-inch ultralight forged wheels
The usual interior digs are offered for this program, including aluminum pedals and footrests, a redesigned sports steering wheel, carbon-fiber components on the dash and console, and of course, full-leather upholstery.
As always, Mansory went to town working on the CLS 63 AMG’s 5.5-liter V-8 engine. In this instance, the modifications involved setting up a newly programmed control unit and adding a new sports air filter for increased oxygen supply to the engine. All told, the CLS 63 AMG is now capable of pumping out 631 horsepower and 663 pound-feet of torque — a boost of 81 horsepower and 132 pound-feet over the stock model. We estimate these improvements to give the CLS 63 AMG a 0-to-60 mph sprint time of 3.6 seconds with a top speed in the neighborhood of 190 mph.

It’s a lot sexier looking than the shooting brake version and that should bode well for those people who enjoy the aesthetic appeal of the CLS 63 AMG yet still crave for more. That’s where Mansory comes into the picture
In any case, the CLS 63 AMG is still powered in standard guise by a 5.5-liter V-8 biturbo engine that delivers a total of up to 557 horsepower and 589 pound-feet of torque — with the AMG Performance Pack — while mated to a SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission. The sprint from 0 to 60 mph will be made in as few as 3.7 seconds, but top speed is electronically limited to just 155 mph.

MANSORY customises the Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG
The company MANSORY Design & Holding GmbH once again demonstrates its great expertise in the customisation of a top-class Coupé, presenting a completely customised Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG.
A series-production CLS is already among the most exclusive vehicles on our streets – but it looks positively conventional beside the MANSORY wide-body version. From the upthrust-reducing body design to the powerful performance enhancement and an elaborately designed interior, the customisation specialist from Brand, near Bayreuth, Germany, has turned its attention to every aspect of the luxury body, bringing its exclusive customers’ dream cars to life.
The complete modification by the MANSORY carbon-fibre experts consists of extremely light autoclave-prepreg carbon fibre and, along with the front and rear wings, includes new side sill sets and cladding. This broadens the Coupé by 50 millimetres at the front axle and a stately 80 millimetres at the rear axle. The newly designed bonnet provides an optical and aerodynamic pièce de résistance for the front-on view. The front apron, with its proprietary daytime driving lights, provides an additional accent to the overall look. At the rear, too, the company’s technicians have come up with something special to polish off the CLS modification: Under the new rear apron, MANSORY installs a powerful diffuser that simultaneously increases the vehicle’s downthrust in cooperation with the rear spoiler.
Maintaining optimum contact with the road are 20-inch rims with 265/30ZR20 tyres at the front and 305/25ZR20 tyres at the rear. The sporty and elegant look of the ultralight forged wheels fills out the wheel arches perfectly.
The design of the MANSORY CLS not only looks sporty; the modification also has plenty to offer under the bonnet. From the V8 unit of the Mercedes-Benz CLS (5.5l, 557 PS, 700 Nm), the MANSORY engine technicians have managed to squeeze out 640 PS / 471 kW and a maximum torque of 900 Nm at 2,000 to 4,500 crankshaft revolutions. The modifications required for this include a newly programmed control unit, as well as a sports air filter for optimised oxygen supply to the high-performance engine.
MANSORY drivers can look forward to a skilfully modified interior that easily matches the quality of the exterior look. Aluminium pedals and footrests supplement the elaborately designed full-leather upholstery, along with deluxe entry sills and floor mats with exclusive embroidery.
In conjunction with the complete modification, the MANSORY saddlers enhance the interior with a set of tailored carbon-fibre components for the dashboard and centre console. Masterful handicraft, individual styling and top quality are to be found wherever you look. The sports steering wheel, with its newly designed ergonomics, adds further highlights to the overall aesthetic.
