This is the motto of German tuners Lorinser, if you think that the jaw-dropping Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake can't be further customized.

For those who are bored of the current AMG kit fitted to the sports wagon, Lorinser has just announced a new body kit and performance upgrades for it that injects even more sexiness into the already sexy wagon. Nice to keep more options for the customer...

Overall, Lorinser has done a great job offering a body kit that doesn't make the CLS Shooting Brake look very pretentious while still keeping some of the sleek and sexy lines of the standard design. It will appeal to owners looking for a subtle yet impeccably stylish body-kit, though we think that there's hardly anybody who'd go down that road.

Exterior and Interior

The body-kit sports a deeper front bumper, rear bumper and side skirts, giving it a meaner stance. Not surprising for a Lorinser body-kit...

Lorinser was proud in touting this body-kit as a more aerodynamic package than the stock AMG kit. With precisely-yet-flaring sculpted wheel arches and larger air vents,up front, the air flow has been optimized to achieve a low drag coefficient while not spoiling the sleek, attractive look of the Shooting Brake.

Adding further eye-candy to the sexy car is a set of 20-inch luscious black alloy rims and a redesigned set of tail-pipes that emanates the engine's music even louder.

Engine Upgrades

The package includes not just the body-kit but also performance enhancements. Lorinser will carry out enhancements for whole engine line-up. For example, the CLS 350 BlueEFFICIENCY that produces 306 horsepower in its standard version now produces 322 horsepower thanks to Lorinser's ECU optimization programme. The top speed has also been increased from a limited 155 mph to 164 mph, for those who really wish to outrun the stock car by 9 mph.

For the 350 CDI version the final output has been increased from the standard 265 HP up to 305 HP. For this version the tuner is also offering sport rear silencers and a new exhaust system with four end-pipes.

For a lower center of gravity and a meaner stance, Lorinser has lowered the suspension springs by about 25mm. So that's extra caution required when negotiating speed bumps.

Prices

The price for the body kit is 6,176 euro - or about $8200 at the current exchange rates.

Competition

Lorinser is not the only tuner offering upgrade package for the Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake. Back in October for example, Brabus has unveiled a very cool body kit that updates both the look and the engine performance numbers for every model in the lineup.
