2013 Mercedes C63 AMG Black Series with Track/Aero Package

  Review

The new Mercedes C63 AMG Black Series Coupe has just recently been revealed and there are already first images and details on the model equipped with the AMG Track Package and AMG Aerodynamics package - two packages that will add even more sportiness to the car.

The AMG Track Package includes sports tires, size 255/35 R 19 for the front and 285/30 R 19, developed exclusively for this model, active rear-axle transmission cooling, and a radiator located in the rear apron that allows the airflow to pass through it effectively. The Aerodynamics package includes the front carbon fiber canards (aka "flics") which are made of genuine carbon fiber and located on the front apron. This package also includes a functionally tuned front splitter made of genuine carbon fiber and a fixed carbon-fiber rear aerofoil with an adjustable blade. Both components not only increase the lift at the front and rear axle, they also optimize the vehicle’s aerodynamic balance.

The rest remains unchanged. The 6.3 liter V8 engine will still deliver a total of 510 HP and a peak torque of 457 lbs-ft, allowing the vehicle a 0 to 60 mph sprint time of 4.2 seconds.

This car is very appealing in spite of having only a simple style and design! Admittedly, this is truly a very ideal sedan for it really looks decent on that. Moreover, it’s great that it has an impressive engine.

Even if its too simple and ordinary on its platform and other detailing, I must say that I still love the fact that it is so reliable on the road and very practical to use.

Well, I think it would be better if they have built a car that offer a better fuel economy. However, I have to say that I’m impressed with the performance of the car.

I think the styling of the car is not that impressive. Actually, its kind of simple. The deliver power output is quite powerful though I find it kind of gas guzzler.

I really like the high speed performance of the vehicle though its kind of gas guzzler. The package makes the car quite sporty.

The styling of the vehicle is kind of impressive on that package. The figure performance of the car is awesome. And it seems faster in terms of 0-60 mph.

The car is still impressive in terms of performance even there is  no changes on the engine. I do like doing some aerodynamics changes for a car, but using a carbon-fiber is not a good idea. I think a carbon-fiber is not a reliable one.

The standard version of the car is already an impressive production especially its power output.  The tuned version of the car is just pointless for the car has an incredible styling and performance already.

IMO, the most important part  of an aftermarket version  is the engine upgrade. I’m not really with the modified and enhanced styling of the exterior but rather on the speed performance of the car. The design of Mercedes is already an awesome vehicle and I don’t think that the AMG Track Package is still necessary.
