Along with the mighty SLS Final Edition, Mercedes ->ke187 is also displaying a bad-ass GLA concept car at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show->ke211. Dubbed the GLA->ke4658 45 AMG Concept car, this sweet compact crossover previews a new high-performance SUV coming from Germany.

The concept is powered by the same AMG 2.0-liter turbocharged engine found in some of its closest relatives, like CLA 45 AMG or A45 AMG. This petite powerhouse puts 360 horsepower and 331 pound-feet of torque into an AMG 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system via an AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT seven-speed sports transmission. This combination teams up to deliver a stellar 0-to-60 mph sprint time of under 5 seconds and a thrifty 33 mpg.

Lest you believe that Mercedes would stop at the engine, it also installed the staple AMG body kit to help give the crossover some aesthetic credentials to go along with its peppy four-pot. This kit includes an AMG front apron with a large front splitter, and large air intakes, a "twin-blade" radiator grille in silver chrome, side sill panels with high-gloss black inserts, and around back, a set of black roof rails and a large rooftop spoiler.
