The current Mercedes SLS line-up is quickly filling up with a Coupe, a Roadster, a GT3 version, and, sometime in the near future, an E-Cell version. However, Mercedes isn’t done yet. The company is in the midst of adding a fifth model to the growing lineup: the Black Series model. The new Black Series was confirmed by Tobias Moers, Member of the Board of Directors and Head of Vehicle Development for AMG, who said in an interview with Motor Trend: "We absolutely have to do a Black Series!" It should add at least 50 HP over the standard model, bringing it up to about 620 HP. Rumors in the industry point to a revised 6.2 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine as the power source. In the same interview, Moers also confirmed that the SLS GT3 would not be racing in the US market because the company did not want to go through the added expense of re-certifying it for use on US soil. The E-Cell’s trip to the US, however, is still up for discussion. Updated 10/19/2011 : The upcoming Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series has been caught testing for the first time. Enjoy! 8 comments: Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series I wonder if what’s the difference of this vehicle to the other SLS AMG? Anyway, I’m really hoping that this black series would truly have a nice or surprising feature and even an awesome speed performance.
 I really want to try driving this car!  It seems that it is so exciting to drive because of its powerful engine! Anyway, I must say that I’m not truly caught by its exterior appearance, too aggressive!
 If looking for great performance Mercedes SLS has it, both engine wise and organize specification. Hence The aesthetic part is significant it is important too the system engine for total satisfaction.

 I can say that this is a very speedy car that everyone will enjoy driving this kind of car. This is pretty cool and nice indeed. I love the fact for having a good engine and features for this car.
