We’ve already caught the 2015 C63 AMG sedan testing, but we haven’t yet seen the C63 AMG Estate — what we know as a station wagon here in the U.S. Well here it is for your enjoyment, folks, the 2014 C63 AMG Estate. Just a few days ago, we got a good look at the front end of the C63 AMG sedan, as well as its backside, but these shots are a lot less revealing.
Sure, you can still make out the basic placement of the air inlets on the front bumper, but the shape is not there yet. Around back, we can clearly see the revised quad-exit exhaust system, but the wagon still lacks the defined rear diffuser that we clearly made out on the sedan.
Under the hood, however, we already know that despite the model retaining the C63 designation — typically reserved for the outgoing 6.2-liter V-8 — the C63 AMG Estate will share the upcoming tarmac-killing 4.0-liter, V-8 engine that the AMG GT/SLC will feature.
We expect to see the C63 AMG Sedan at the Paris Auto Show in October, and we suspect the wagon will follow it by a few months.
The big question is will we finally get this hot wagon here in the U.S.?

March 3, 2014 - First Sighting
Our spy photographers caught the C63 AMG Estate out and about in early 2014, and there was little to see, as the model was pretty heavily covered up. Despite the covering, we already know what to expect, as the Sedan version has already started to drop its camo. Around back, we’ll see a set of angular quad-exit exhaust tips with a diffuser splitting the two sets of outlets. Up front, we’ll see a revised apron with large air inlets and all0-new headlights.
To date, all we know about the C63 AMG Estate’s drivetrain is that it’ll carry a 4.0-liter V-8 that it will share with the AMG GT/SLC. This engine will put down at least 450 horsepower and maybe as much as 500 ponies with the Performance Pack.

To date, the only real competition the C63 AMG Estate is the RS 4 Avant from Audi. Thanks to a 4.2-liter FSI V-8, the RS4 Avant packs 450 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque. The engine mates to a seven-speed, dual-clutch transmission and Audi’s famed quattro all-wheel-drive system. This monster power allows the RS 4 to hit 62 mph in just 4.7 seconds, and sprint up to a top speed of 155 mph.

The C63 AMG debuted in 2008 as the replacement to the C55 AMG and the C32 AMG that preceded it. The C63 AMG rolled in boasting the 6.2-liuter V-8 with 451 horsepower and 443 foot-pounds of torque. Since its debut, the model has remained relatively unchanged, save for a few special models to roll out of Germany.
