It’s hard not to give the Mercedes G63 AMG 6x6 the applause it deserves because not doing so would probably result in the vehicle jumping off our page and slapping us silly with those two extra tires.

All joking aside, this vehicle really is one for the ages. Adding German tuner extraordinaire Brabus into the equation, makes this one monster ride that will no doubt leave every other vehicle scampering away and cowering in fear by the vehicle’s mere presence.

At the Frankfurt Auto Show , Brabus will present its program for the G63 AMG 6x6. You had better find a nice place to hide because if this Brabus-tuned G63 AMG 6x6 finds you looking at it funny, it might just decide to give you a knee-buckling stare of its own.

Give credit to Brabus for taking the time to work on a vehicle like this. Chances are, the company enjoyed working on it so much that Brabus engineers likely "tested" the model extensively.

Every major auto show that Brabus goes to, you can expect that at least one of its programs will be dedicated to the billing "fastest-something-in-the-world".

At the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show , that distinction falls on the capable shoulders of the 2013 Mercedes CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake .

If you thought that station wagons are merely characterized as family cars, Brabus’ 850 6.0 Biturbo program will throw that notion right out of the window with the fury of a car running 800 horsepower worth of output.

That’s what makes this Brabus program for the CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake such a mouthful to digest. Sure, it already has the performance credentials to be called a powerful car, but the German tuner takes it to a whole new level normally reserved for exotic coupes.

Then again, we shouldn’t be surprised anymore because Brabus does it over and over again, and the results have been nothing less than spectacular.

After unveiling the 2014 S-Class sedan back in May, Mercedes decided to preview the coupe version at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show . However, in a strange twist, the German company decided to only show a concept version of the new S-Class Coupe and not the production version.

After teasing it yesterday for the first time, Mercedes fully unveiled the S-Class Coupe Concept today. The production version will serve as the successor for the CL-Class , and it will target super-luxury models, models like the Bentley Continental GT .

Mercedes will build the new S-Class Coupe on a modified version of the S-Class sedan’s platform and will come with the choice of either a V-8 or V-12 engine. In concept form, the S-Class Coupe carries just a V-8 engine.

A production version will follow at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show .

When Mercedes works on a new generation for one of its models, you can rest assured that the AMG version to match will follow right behind it. As the new-generation S-Class made its world debut a few months ago, we all expected to see the AMG version dropped on the market too.

After many months of testing and a few teases, Mercedes released the first details on the new S63 AMG today. At first look, the new model seems better than ever: it gets a sweet AMG aerodynamic package, it is more powerful, it’s lighter and, for the first time, Mercedes will offer it with a 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system.

The new S63 AMG will make its world debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show and will be put on sale on the U.S. market in November.

Brabus started work on the new-generation Mercedes S-Class shortly after it hit the market. The first upgrade kit that Brabus offered could by applied to the entire lineup, but at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show , we will see the Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo iBusiness edition, which is based on the S63 AMG and developed for buyers looking for a high-end luxury limousine with huge power numbers.

Brabus uses this 850 6.0 Biturbo iBusiness upgrade to trick the S63 AMG to an extra 250 horsepower, and upgrade the interior with great technology features — mostly from Apple, including the iPad, Mac mini, iPod touch and Apple TV.

Brabus builds the new 850 6.0 Biturbo iBusiness on a special-order basis only, and announced the multimedia system and the other tuning components can be applied to any model in the S-Class lineup.

Mercedes will prove its racing capabilities once again with the unveiling of a new CLA 45 AMG Racing Series at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show . After its debut, the model will enter various international race series, such as national brand-specific trophies or the German VLN series.

Based on the standard CLA 45 AMG , the the Racing Series adds an aerodynamic package made in carbon fiber, a racing-prepared interior, and updated suspension and braking systems.

Just like with the SLS AMG GT3 , the new CLA 45 AMG Racing Series was developed in cooperation with HWA AG, which was responsible for the development and race appearances of the AMG-Mercedes DTM cars.

"The CLA 45 AMG Racing Series demonstrates our desire to further increase our commitment to customer motorsport. We are also seeking to offer interested customer teams a competitive, near-standard racing car with an excellent level of safety in the popular four-cylinder segment."

Mercedes is expanding its CLA lineup with the addition of a new CLA 250 Sport. The model will be officially unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show and will be available for order starting October 7th. The model is priced from €42,304 (about $55,000 at the current exchange rates).

Under the hood, the CLA 250 Sport gets a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers a total of 211 horsepower — a 3-horsepower jump over the CLA 250 — and 258 pound-feet of torque between 1,200 and 4,000 rpm. Mercedes C-Class Convertible

A few days ago, our spy photographers caught testing the sedan version of the next generation Mercedes C-Class and now it looks like its time for the convertible version to flex its muscles outside. While the sedan version was wearing almost no camouflage, the convertible version was heavily disguised and it wears a fake roof.

The production version is expected to wear a conventional canvas sotftop, and not a retractable one as its main competitor, the BMW 4 Series Convertible . Everything else will borrowed from the sedan version, ranging from the exterior design language and up to the engine lineup that will include both diesel and gasoline engines.

The C-Class Convertible is expected to hit the market in 2015 as a 2016 model. It will join the C-Class lineup that will include a sedan and a station wagon model and will be followed by a coupe version.

Japan has become the apple of Mercedes ’ eye recently with numerous special edition and anniversary models hitting Japanese dealers.

Now, it’s the turn of the Mercedes ML-Class . In celebrating the first anniversary of the Mercedes SUV in Japan, the German automaker decided to unveil a unique ML350 BlueTEC 4MATIC 1st Anniversary Edition. It’s an exclusive model for the Japanese market, which goes to show how much love and attention Mercedes has for that country.

Distinguishing the ML350 BlueTEC 4MATIC 1st Anniversary Edition from the rest of its brethren are a number of aesthetic and aerodynamic modifications. For starters, the 100-unit model is available in either an Obsidian Black or Diamond White Metallic finish. In addition, the SUV is equipped with an AMG Styling package that includes a bevy of new components, including modified bumpers, revised side skirts, and a set of 20-inch alloy wheels. Stainless-steel running boards and privacy glass were also added to the special edition model, justifying its label as a unique SUV for the fine folks of Japan.

Interior mods were kept at a minimum, although you can still enjoy the addition of AMG sports seats, an AMG steering wheel, special floor mats, stainless-steel pedals and a brushed aluminum trim.

Power still comes in the form of a 3.0-liter V-6 engine that produces 258 horsepower and 457 pound-feet of torque while mated to a 7G-TRONIC PLUS transmission and a 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system.

The ML350 BlueTEC 4MATIC 1st Anniversary Edition will be limited to just 100 units with pricing set at ¥8.6 million, which is about $88,065 based on current exchange rates.

Mercedes-Benz SLC-Class

Our spy photographers have caught the Mercedes C190, which we all know as either the SLC-Class or the GT, testing plenty of times in the past, but this time they caught it in its best form, as it did laps around the Nurburgring.

These images revel very little in the way of new stuff, but we can clearly see that the mule phase is over and the real SLC (GT) is starting to take form. This is evident by the makeshift grille and air intakes in the front apron — these are all to see just how effective they are aerodynamically and for cooling. Of course, they will be refined in production, but these rough drafts at least help with positioning.

The details of the SLC (GT) are still pretty scarce, as we have relied solely on rumors to this point. The rumors are pointing toward this new supercar carrying a V-8 engine that produces anywhere from 485 to 600 horsepower, depending on the model selected, and there will likely be three models to choose from. The top-line model will, of course, be the Black Series.

Rumors also suggest that we will see the SLC Coupe (GT Coupe) arrive in late 2014.
