So, you’ve got a supercar but no place flex its muscles... With the Nurburgring sale nearly completed , then you may be interested in this upcoming auction. Mid America Motorplex, which is located just outside of Omaha, Nebraska, will go under the hammer next week. The complete facility along with all the assets will be auctioned off to the highest bidder.
The 2.23-mile-long racetrack, which also includes an 1/8-mile drag strip, paddock building, and other racetrack necessities, has been put up for auction on Auction Solutions Inc. The sale is scheduled to take place on November 23rd, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. The little-known Mid America Motorplex is situated in the small town of Pacific Junction, Iowa, not far from Omaha, and covers a total area of 205 acres.
Pre-bidding has already kicked-off on Auction Solutions’ website. The last bid registered is $380,000 with 5 days remaining. Sure, it’s no Nurburgring , but it would be a steal if it comes in under $500k.
