With a little more than two months left until the 2014 FIFA World Cup kicks off in Brazil, the folks over at Mini->ke57 are gearing up for the big sporting event -- or should we say April Fools' Day? -- with the Paceman->ke4449 GoalCooper special edition.

Based on the John Cooper Works Paceman, the GoalCooper pays tribute to Brazil's national soccer team by wearing a body wrap that combines the green, blue and yellow colors adorning the aforementioned country's flag.

Inside, the football (err, soccer)-related theme continues with Astro Turf floor mats in a color the company calls Brasileiro Green, a similar mat to cover the entire cargo space when the rear seats are folded and a miniature table football set mounted on the center rail.

Additionally, a "floodlight" LED interior lighting package, a net attached behind the front seats and universal holder for smartphones give the GoalCooper "a stadium like feel" that fervent soccer fans are likely to enjoy.

Mini Paceman GoalCooper in Detail

Shooting for more foolery, Mini says the car's Park Distance Control sensors and the interior's monitoring alarm system sensors will activate and instantly close the tailgate when someone wants to shoot the ball into an open trunk.

But wait, there's more. If the system fails and the ball hits the net behind the front seats, the driver can let other Mini owners know about his achievement via a special Mini Connected App.

At the end of the 2014 World Cup on July 13, the winner will be awarded with the Mini Community World Champion trophy. What?! No free trip to Brazil? Sheesh! Well, we thinky this may be Mini getting a head start on the Automotive April Fools' Day, let's wait and see what other crazy cars and "innovations" we're in for this year.
