The Mitsubishi Outlander was launched in India in 2008 and in 2010 Mitsubishi gave it a facelift. The Outlander comes with a 2.4-litre MIVEC petrol engine and is available with only a CVT gearbox and also a differential lock. Its competitors are the Honda CR-V and the Chevrolet Captiva.

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation and PSA Peugeot Citroën announced today that they have signed an agreement under which Mitsubishi Motors will be supplied with diesel engines by PSA Peugeot Citroën in a new collaborative agreement.

Mitsubishi today announced that it starts production of "Outlander" SUV at Okazaki plant, located in Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture. Okazaki plant will produce 29,000 units of "Outlander" in the second half of fiscal year 2006 mainly for North America, Russia and Japanese markets.

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation today debuts the Outlander EX*1 on-road Sport Utility Vehicle at the Beijing Motor Show 2006. The show is being held from November 18 (November 21 for the general public). Also on display are the Lancer Evolution IX high-performance 4WD sports sedan that went on sale in China this October, the Mitsubishi Concept-Sportback that shows how a next-generation sportback concept car may look, and the Eclipse Spyder that is currently selling very strongly in the North American Market. Through out the improvements some are quite impressive- the front and the rear bumper, new front grill and 20 inch alloy wheels. DAMD is known for its interior and exterior modifications, without fine tuning the motorization part. Not that the V6 3.0 Liter Engine, that generates 220 horsepower needs any!...
Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) has announced pricing for its all-new, second-generation Outlander compact sport-utility vehicle. The larger, more powerful 2007 Outlander will start at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $21,370 for a well- equipped ES front-wheel drive model. Early buyers will receive a Mitsubishi 25th Anniversary discount of $1,380 for a starting MSRP of $19,990.

On June 9th, Japan gets the Mitsubishi Outlander G-Limited. The G presumably stands for "gold," which is applied liberally to the sporty and stylish new SUV. The 18" aluminum rims, the side pinstripes, and the grille surround are all gold. In addition to the precious-metal-colored trim, the lower front bumper is painted the same color as the body (either black mica or white pearl). On the inside, heated leather seats with 4-way power adjust for the driver are standard.
