The Mitsubishi Outlander was launched in India in 2008 and in 2010 Mitsubishi gave it a facelift. The Outlander comes with a 2.4-litre MIVEC petrol engine and is available with only a CVT gearbox and also a differential lock. Its competitors are the Honda CR-V and the Chevrolet Captiva.

On June 9th, Japan gets the Mitsubishi Outlander G-Limited. The G presumably stands for "gold," which is applied liberally to the sporty and stylish new SUV. The 18" aluminum rims, the side pinstripes, and the grille surround are all gold.
