Mitsubishi->ke58 will preview its next-generation compact sedan with its new G4 Concept car that is set to be unveiled at the 34th Bangkok International Motor Show from March 25th through April 7th. First rumors suggest that the production version will be a Mirage-based sedan that will be sold globally.
The new G4 Concept will feature the company's new high-clarity brilliant-cut diamond motif in the front-grille, headlamps and rear combination lamp designs. The concept will also be distinguished by a short nose, graceful and flowing side proportions and large door openings that facilitate entry in the interior where the rear passengers will enjoy generous legroom.
The concept uses an innovative body called RISE (Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution), which keeps the weight to a minimum with extensive use of high-tensile steel. Under the hood, the G4 features a 1.2-liter MIVEC engine mated to a CVT with sub-geartrain.
Full details on the G4 will be unveiled during the concept's debut in Bangkok.
