2012 Morgan Aero Coupe

  Review

Classic cars with modern performance technology never get old in our book, especially when the brand in question is Morgan. As one of only a few brands in this world that continues to bridge old school looks with new school technology, Morgan is in a unique place in the industry, one that very few of its contemporaries can even step into.

Morgan’s Aero line-up is the unquestioned money maker of the company. And now, it’s fixing to get a new family member in the Morgan Aero Coupe.

Design details surrounding the Aero Coupe have been pretty vague at this point, but Morgan has said that the car will be slotted between the GT3 Aero8 and the Aeromax Supersports.

But where its design dynamics have yet to be fully revealed, Morgan has made it clear that the Aero Coupe will be sporting the same BMW-sourced 4.8-liter V8 engine as that of the Aero and the Plus8, which means that it’s going to carry an output of 367 horsepower and 361 lb/ft of torque. It will also be mated to a either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. As an added treat, Morgan will be offering a custom sports exhaust system that will boost the output of the Aero Coupe to 390 horsepower.

Taking all that into account, the Aero Coupe will carry a 0-62 mph time of 4.5 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph.

Stay in class, Morgan! It’s an elegant concept. Actually, I think the wheel rims don’t match the overall paint.

I am impressed with the concept of this Morgan. It was classical and a lot more. The exterior was catchy since it was based on the earlier concepts.

If I were a lucky guy and have lots of money; I will never purchase this kind of model. I would find some interesting concept than this. Sorry but that’s my opinion.

This coupe is very unusual. Seeing classic cars with a touch of modern technology is a great experience. Just like timeless songs, classic cars were never getting old.

What is this, they’re bringing back the old and classical looks of the 80’s and 90’s? The chassis of exterior shows more classical features which we can only see on the old models of cars, but the style of tires, it was build for burning speeds. It’s clearly amazing with a maximum speed of a hundred fifty-five miles per hour. The sprinting time was unbelievably 4.5 seconds from nothing to a hundred miles an hour.

I love the classic beauty of this vehicle. I think pairing old looking car with new technology is such a delightful idea. I was amazed to know that this vehicle carries a V8 engine. Thumbs-up to Morgan!

What a Morgan concept! First thing that likes me most are the steering wheels, next is the cool headlamps and angst bumper in front of the car. What’s good about this car is that it takes a top speed of 155 mph and uses V8 engine. I’m sure many buyers will get more interested about this unique car.

I’d like to have this kind of a car that has very unique style. A well-fashioned car like this one approved my taste, pretty much classy.
