As police begin their annual holiday enforcement campaign to arrest motorists driving while impaired by alcohol or drugs, Fraydun Manocherian, founder and chairman of The National Road Safety Foundation, Inc. is calling for a nationwide driver education program that he says can save up to 4,000 lives a year and eliminate more than $2.5 billion in crash-related costs.

More than 100 Harley Davidson riders from the Pinkerton Motorcycle Club and other groups as far away as Nottingham, arrived at the Great Western Hospital with a present each, ready to dish them out to the sickly youngsters on the childern’s ward.
