Police in Cincinnati arrested NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Aaron Fike on Saturday, along with his fiancé. Both were booked into the Warren County Jail on charges of possessing heroin.
The couple were arrested in the parking lot of King’s Island, a popular amusement park. Police were tipped by a caller in the late afternoon. The caller reported “suspicious activity” occurring in a Toyota Sequoia in the King’s Island parking lot.

Dave Blaney has won the first-ever pole position for Toyota in NASCAR’s Nextel Cup competition. His lap at 129.437 miles per hour at the New Hampshire International Speedway topped all other competitors and represented one of the few bright spots for Toyota in its first season as a Nextel Cup competitor. Blaney drives for Bill Davis Racing, one of the first Nextel Cup teams approached by Toyota in anticipation of a full-scale Cup effort.

NASCAR will debut the Car of Tomorrow (COT) this weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race. Toyota Motorsports have unveiled the first three teams that will run its Camry in Nextel Cup and Busch Series races in 2007: Bill Davis Racing, Michael Waltrip Racing and newly-formed Team Red Bull.
BDR brings long-time sponsor Caterpillar, while NAPA remains the primary sponsor for Waltrip. Bill Davis Racing was an early Toyota partner in the Craftsman Truck Series, while former Cup champion Darrell Waltrip is Toyota Motorsports most visible NASCAR spokesman.
