2011 Nissan Pathfinder


Nissan will unveil at the Geneva Motor Show a facelift version for the Pathfinder SUV. Among the changes that’s rumored to come with the new Pathfinder include a number of styling modifications, new engines, new equipment line-up and an enhanced interior quality. Sales in Europe will begin this April.

The biggest news surrounding the face-lifted Pathfinder is that it will come with multiple engine variants, including a new 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine with an output of 230 hp and 550 NM of torque and a 2.5 dCi four cylinder engine with an amount of 190 hp and 450 Nm of torque.

The exterior changes include a new bonnet, a revised grille and a new bumper assembly, new headlamp design with distinctive projector styling and new 16-inch (steel and alloy) and 17-inch (alloy) wheels.

The interior modifications include revised door trims, new seat fabric, the addition of chrome highlights, revised dials and - depending on the model - the availability of Nissan Connect Premium with a new high-resolution touch screen.

2009 Nissan Pathfinder


For 2009, the pathfinder SUV comes with revised packaging and equipment availability, including the addition of standard 18-inch machined aluminum alloy wheels on Pathfinder LE V6 models (previously standard on LE V8 models only). Other changes include the addition of standard side and curtain supplemental air bags on all models and a new auto door lock function. Two new exterior colors are also available for 2009.

The 2009,Pathfinder is available with a choice of two engines – a powerful 5.6-liter DOHC 32-valve V8 engine producing 310 horsepower and 388 lb-ft of torque and a 266-horsepower 4.0-liter V6. The V8 engine is offered with the Pathfinder LE 4x4 configuration, while the V6 is offered in S, SE and LE 4x4 and 4x2 models. Backing both engines is a standard electronically controlled 5-speed automatic transmission.

Standard on all Pathfinder models is a responsive engine-speed-sensitive power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering system and 4-wheel disc brakes with 4-wheel, 4-channel, 4-sensor Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with G-sensor and Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD).

The 2009 Pathfinder will go on sale with prices ranging from $27,210 for the 4x2 S version and up to $40,210 for the 4x4 LE V-8 one.

2010 Frontier, Pathfinder and Xterra pricing announced


Nissan announced today pricing for the 2010 Frontier, Pathfinder and Xterra. All three models are now on sale.

Prices for the 2010 Nissan Frontier start at $17,540 for the Frontier XE King Cab I4 4x2 with manual transmission and $22,290 for the Frontier SE Crew Cab V6 4x2 with manual transmission. There are a total of 13 available Frontier King Cab and 14 available Frontier Crew Cab models.

Prices for the Pathfinder range from $27,440 for the Pathfinder 4x2 S FE+ with 4.0-liter V6 engine and automatic transmission to $42,160 for the Pathfinder 4x4 LE-V8 with automatic transmission.

The Nissan Xterra has a starting price of $22,450 for the Xterra 4x2 X with 4.0-liter V6 and manual transmission, while the Xterra 4x4 X with V6 and manual transmission is $24,500.

2008 Nissan Pathfinder pricing announced


Nissan North America, Inc. announced pricing on the 2008 Pathfinder, which goes on sale today at Nissan dealers nationwide. For the first time ever, Pathfinder is available with a 5.6-iter V8 engine, offering an additional 44 horsepower and 100 lb-ft of torque over the standard 4.0-liter V6 for greater towing capacity. 2008 Nissan Pathfinder


For the last 22 years, Nissan’s Pathfinder has stood out as an innovative, rugged SUV capable of handling adventures both on and off-road. For 2008, that capability reaches a new level with an available 5.6-liter V8 rated at 300-plus horsepower and 380-plus lb-ft of torque – the first time a V8 has ever been offered in Pathfinder. The new V8 engine is offered in addition to a 4.0-liter V6 engine. Both engines are available with 2-wheel or 4-wheel drive, giving buyers a wide range of engine/driveline configurations to meet their specific performance needs and desires. We think that Nissan is aiming for new customers, indifferent of age should be sure a man. But wath i’m saying?! Wath girl is traveling in a off-roader dressed up for the beach? Maybe a girl that know what she wants, so the Pathfinder is also for the girls.

The intention of this ad is to show us the mechanical part of the car, namely independent suspension, or at least that is wath a car-fanatic should see. No! I’m wrong again.
