Nissan unveiled the 370Z Coupe in 2009 as a replacement for the 350Z, and the roadster version followed one year later. Over its short life, the car has largely remained the same, with only minor modifications made to the list of equipment. Compared to the 350Z, the new Nissan 370Z features a more aggressive design language, intentionally picking up elements from the 240Z’s design. These elements provide a sleek aerodynamic shape, a "dynamic motion" feel with a dramatic cantilevered roof, and a "low visual gravity." Both the coupe and roadster versions of the 370Z are offered in standard and Touring variants, with a 332 HP 3.7-liter DOHC V6 engine and choice of a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed automatic transmission. In addition to these options, Nissan also has a Nismo model that delivers a total of 350 HP. UPDATE 07/20/2012: Nissan has announced prices for the 2013 Z line-up: the coupe version is priced from $33,120; the roadster from $41,470; and the Nismo version is priced at $43,020. All models are now on sale at Nissan dealers nationwide. Hit the jump for full model and accessories pricing details. Hit the jump to read more about the 2009-2013 Nissan 370Z. ExteriorDuring its short life span, the Nissan 370Z has remained largely unchanged for both the exterior and interior. Compared to the model it replaces - the 350Z - the new sports car has received more dynamic styling, an aggressive appearance, and a light, highly rigid structure for enhanced performance. The 370Z offers a perfect balance thanks to its 100.4-inch wheelbase, 167.2-inch overall length, 72.6-inch width, and 51.8-inch height.
Aerodynamics
The body for the Nissan 370Z features aluminum door panels, an all-aluminum hood, and an aluminum hatch. At the front of the 370Z are new headlights with a distinctive "boomerang" design and High Intensity Discharge (HID) bi-functional xenon lights. The car continues with a sleek silhouette defined by its upswept quarter window design that is echoed by the dynamic upward curvature in the lower rocker panel. At the rear, there are the same boomerang taillights and wide, flared rear fenders as well. The vehicle also features body-color dual power heated outside mirrors, dual exhaust outlets with finishers, one-touch hatch release, and a UV-reducing solar glass. For an even sportier look, Nissan also has the optional Sport Package which will add a new front chin spoiler and rear spoiler. Color options include: Pearl White, Monterey Blue, Brilliant Silver, Magnetic Black, Solid Red, Gun Metallic, and Black Cherry. 2013 Nissan 370Z Facelift Updates for the refreshed 370Z include a revised front fascia with vertical LED daytime running lights, the addition of a red reflector to the rear fascia, revised 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, and a new set of 18" wheels for the Coupe version. The models equipped with the Sport Package will receive red-finished brake calipers and Euro-tuned shock absorbers. Nissan will also offer two new exterior colors – Magma Red and Midnight Blue - and will combine them with a dark-finish fuel gauge trim. Wheels and Tires
InteriorThe interior of the Nissan 370Z combines practicality with a sporty feeling. The first noticeable feature is the deeply scooped instrument panel with a full-length center console separating the driver and passenger’s seat. All the gauges are attached to the steering column, so the driver doesn’t have to choose between their preferred steering wheel position and visibility of the gauges. The 370Z also gets a 3-spoke design steering wheel which offers baseball-style stitching and large thumb grips and palm rest areas. Another interesting feature are the driver and passenger seats which are completely different. Both seats are wrapped in high quality leather, but the driver seat offers lower seat cushion cut-outs on the sides where the thighs rest – allowing the driver to push on the pedals without the seat fighting them. EngineSince its official debut back in 2009, the Nissan 370Z has been powered by the same 3.7-liter VQ37VHR engine with VVEL (Variable Valve Event and Lift) that delivers a total of 332 HP at 7,000 rpm and 270 lb-ft of torque at 5,200 rpm. Full Sprint Times:
Top Speed
The engine can be mated to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed automatic with Downshift Rev Matching (DRM) and Adaptive Shift Control (ASC). When equipped with the 7-speed automatic transmission, the engine delivers a fuel economy of 19 mpg city and 26 mpg highway. With the 6-speed manual transmission, the engine delivers 18 mpg city and 26 mpg highway.

CompetitionEver since Nissan launched the 370Z, they have ignited a war with Porsche’s little sports coupe: the Cayman. Most may still remember the famous adds from Nissan saying "I dream of being as fast a Nissan 370Z." The point behind that ad was that the Cayman achieved the 0 to 60 mph sprint in 4.9 seconds. Another competitor for the 370Z is the Audi TT. Nissan challenged this model with another slogan: "More expensive, slower, and less powerful than a Nissan 370 Z." A standard TT starts at $38,300, which is about $7,000 less than the starting price of the 370Z. Nissan talks the talk, but does the 370Z walk the walk? We dare say yes, it does. In the past three years, the 370Z performed better than the Cayman and the TT on every test drive. Great look Cheaper than competition Faster than competition Only two models to choose from 6 comments: Nissan 370Z Many of us likes this car because it is not so expensive and it sounds so amazing. Many car models means many buyers. Great invention.
Its exterior design is really fascinating. Another thing, its 155 mph top speed is a real guide for us to buy this car. I am sure that this is way faster that other coupe.
