Here in the U.S. we know it as the Nissan 370Z 40th Anniversary Edition, however in Europe the celebratory Z34 will be sold as the 370Z Black Edition. Quite appropriately, only 370 examples of the special edition Nissan 370Z coupe will make their way to the European shores and prices in the U.K. will start at £33,645 for a manually shifted version and go up to £35,045 for an automatic equipped Z car. On the outside, the 370Z Black Edition is distinguished by its obligatory black paint scheme, a set of dark gray forged aluminum RAYS wheels measuring 19 inches in diameter housing a set of red brake calipers and bespoke 40th Anniversary emblems on the back bumper. The interior upgrades consist of red leather buckets with embossed 40th Anniversary logos, red inserts in the door panels, leather wrapped steering wheel with red accent stitching, matching red stitching on the center stack and Nissan’s Connect Premium, a state of the art touch screen satellite navigation unit with integrated audio controls and USB connectivity for all of your MP3 playing needs. Press release after the jump. Press release Just over 40 years ago a motoring icon was born. As the sixties moved into the 1970s, Now four decades, six generations and well over a million cars later, Nissan is introducing a special celebratory version of the newest two-seater to wear the famous Z badge – the 370Z. The 370Z Black Edition marks the 40th anniversary in style. Available from April as a coupe only, and in a limited edition run of just 370 units in Europe, it comes in two distinctive metallic shades: black and quartz. The exterior of the 370Z Black can be identified thanks to:
Standard specification means it already has a bespoke BOSE premium audio system, 19-inch forged alloy wheels, Stop/Start button with Nissan’s Intelligent Key and a sporting six speed manual transmission with unique Synchro Rev Control technology. The electronically controlled rev matching system ensures perfect ‘heel and toe’ gear changes every time. A seven-speed automatic version with column-mounted paddle shifts is available as an option. Real time traffic information is supplied via RDS-TMC, but quicker operation allows the system to offer re-routing in a fraction of the time. The new generation system uses a touch-screen interface, maximising both ease of use and safety not only for the navigation, but also for other functions such as Bluetooth phone connectivity and entertainment. It is also possible to operate the system using voice recognition. Exemplary levels of handling and grip are assured by the focused rear-wheel drive chassis which features fully independent suspension, powerful upgraded brakes and precise speed sensitive power steering. 4 comments: Nissan 370Z Black Edition Looks pretty sick. I’m not sure why, but I really like those red seats. They seem like they would never get old...
I love the sporty red and black combination for it’s interior. The next thing that I would want to see for this car model is for it to be side by side with some of my favorites. The all new evolution, GS-R and definitely an Imprezza. It will surely create a good old goosebumps if they will be in the tracks...
well Congratulations to Nissan Motors for the success of the Z sports car, but there’s nothing much change in interior and performance of the z.
