Well, that was a bummer.
We’re not exactly sure how the whole Star Wars theme was adopted on this new package for the Nissan Juke , but considering that there are little to no hints of Storm Troopers in the crossover, you could say that the Japanese automaker may pulled a fast one on all of us through creative advertising.
There are still some noticeable upgrades to the Japan-exclusive 15RX Personalized Package - that’s what Nissan’s calling it - specifically the rather plump Passion Red and Night Veile Purple color options. Very rare do you see these two shades on the car, particularly the latter and it’s eggplant-like hue that gets a top grade from us. The sports stripes are also a nice touch, especially on a crossover that exudes attitude like the Juke. Contrasting mirror caps are also part of the package, as well as a new set of 17" aluminum wheels.
Inside, there’s not a lot to go by except for what looks like a two-tone upholstery that can be had in either a black-and-red combo or a black-and-grey variety. Other than that, the 15RX Personalized Package is a massive disappointment relative to what was teased with the involvement of the Storm Troopers. Coming off the heels of the ridiculously cool Dark Knight Rises Juke , this program just fell flat of our expectations.
But hey, if you like the new digs offered by the 15RX Personalized Package, we can’t blame you. All you need to do is shell out the ¥1,943,550 price tag ($19,950) attached to it.

To even say that this is a unique vehicle would be an understatement. And while it doesn’t actually qualify as a Batmobile, it comes pretty darn close.
The Batman Juke comes with a plethora of Batman-inspired details, including: the matte black paint reminiscent of the Tumbler; the aluminum Bat badges on the front grille and tailgate; Bat logos on the kick plates; and reflective Bat badges on the headrests of the suede-trimmed Nismo sports seats.
Power still comes by way of a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine that develops 197 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque, good enough to hit 62 mph in 7.8 seconds with an estimated top speed of 130 mph.
The one-off Nissan Juke Dark Knight Rises Edition has since found an owner in the form of Welsh baker Adam Williams, who won the unique crossover courtesy of Nissan’s Thrill Test contest.
Nissan Motor Co. announced on August 27 that it launched a new nationwide communication campaign featuring the "Stormtrooper," a character which appears in the "Star Wars" film series popular throughout the world, on August 26 when the partly restyled "JUKE" model was put on the market.
The new communication campaign featuring Stormtroopers is designed to highlight the new charms of JUKE and arouse consumer interest through a web promotion blitz, which includes a special website, a web movie and Twitter. The multifaceted, comprehensive campaign also involves a TV commercial, cinema advertising (movie theater commercials) and storefront posters at Nissan dealers. In the TV commercial, Stormtroopers meet JUKE, which influences them and renders them into JUKE color.
Timed with the announcement of the partial JUKE remodeling, Nissan also introduced a customized model, "15RX Personalized Package," to offer motorists the joy and excitement of customizing a vehicle.

About the movie
On August 26, the special website started showing the movie that coolly and excitingly tells the story of Stormtroopers’ encounter with JUKE. Nissan plans to release its sequels as the promotional campaign unfolds.
The plot of the first movie:
An underground parking lot in Tokyo: A car pulls up in a parking lot, showing its shadow only, and the viewer cannot identify it. However, the vehicle illuminates its surroundings in red light. Stormtroopers on a reconnaissance mission to the Earth appear on the scene and gaze at the red car. The vehicle comes to a stop. Although the car is partially hidden by a column, one can see it is a JUKE.
About the campaign
A "Get JUKE Campaign" also started with the opening of the website. To participate in the campaign, the viewer only has to fill out the campaign form provided and customize the Stormtrooper by selecting a color for it. A winner for JUKE and Stormtrooper Armor will be selected by lottery. A special QUO card will be given away to 100 people each, also to be chosen by lottery.
