The Nissan Sentra->ke557 entered its seventh generation for the 2013 model year, boasting the same design language found on the Nissan Altima->ke542, a new platform that sheds about 150 pounds from the car’s overall weight, and a new 1.8-liter four-cylinder that delivers 130 horsepower and 128 pound-feet of torque. Up front, the car as a new trapezoid-shaped grille, and larger wraparound headlights. The side profile is sleeker than before, and the rear end us a sportier appearance. Inside, the new Sentra has a soft-touch dashboard and armrests, available leather seating, and optional Maple wood-tone trim – features that are new to the compact->ke140 sedan->ke142 market. With the complete redesign for 2013, the Sentra is closer in look and feel to the Altima than a typical compact sedan.”

The Sentra competes in a very competitive segment with models like the Ford Focus->ke440, Mazda3->ke504, Toyota Corolla->ke1039, and Honda Civic->ke236 bring the best their respective brands have to offer.
