In Europe, General Motors sells the Chevrolet Captiva and the Opel Antara twins. Both of them received some customization from the Germans at Lexmaul Tuning. With the help of a new ECU software, the 150 hp diesel engine has been boosted to 180 hp, while the top speed has been limited to 145 mph due to the safety reasons.

This car is also sold in the United States as the Saturn Vue, which means the exterior set of new side sills and a front lip spoiler may be something that will fit stateside. Lexmaul offers the new kit at a price of $ 1,168 and a two years of warranty.

It is a technically sophisticated vehicle with a unibody construction which combines dynamic design with intelligent four-wheel drive, high levels of functionality and a higher seat position - tailor-made for a growing customer base,” says Opel Managing Director, Hans Demant. The total share of the combined SUV and crossover market in Europe has doubled since 1998, from three to six percent, with continued growth expected.
