There’s something to be said for a rally kart that you can have fully customized to the hilt and buy for less than $10,000. That’s what the Formula Cross YFC 450 is.
The rally kart, which is based on the 2012 Yamaha YFZ 450 ATV is being touted as the ideal build-it-yourself kit for just $7,500. But why spend all that time building it yourself when, for just $1,350, you can have them build it for you.
The Formula Cross YFC 450 comes with a fiberglass FormulaCross body. The initial body comes with a White Shell blank canvas that you can go crazy on designing. Add 4 AeroCatch body latches, a front bumper urethane lip, a Series 1 FormulaCross rally wing, and a hinging door for easy access and you have a body that’s ready to be customized according to your whims.
As a full-fledged rally kart, the YFC 450 needs to be equipped with some of the finest safety equipment it could carry. So, as part of the overall package, buyers will get a fiberglass racing seat, an adjustable seat slider, four-point harnesses, a safety window net, a powder-coated roll cage, and roll bar pads.
Other features of the Formula Cross YFC 450 include electric start, disc brakes with a bias-adjustable brake system, dual master cylinders, a sequential hand shift, a front-adjustable sway bar, a tubular chassis with a build-it toll cage, and a racing steering wheel.
