Just a few days ago, we released a video courtesy of Marchettino which was claimed to capture the Pagani Zonda R Evolution, or ‘Evo’. Now that the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2012 has come around however, we can officially confirm that that particular car was not the Evolution, but the car in the video above is. After looking at both, we’re glad that Marchettino got it wrong this time.

The Pagani Zonda R Evolution is basically an even more extreme version of the already-insane R , and promises to be substantially faster than the standard car, meaning a possible Nordschleife run could see the new car eclipse the regular R’s record-breaking lap of 6:47.

Taking a leaf out of the book of the Zonda 760 RS and 760 LH, the new Zonda R Evolution delivers, you guessed it, 760BHP from its modified 6.0-liter AMG-sourced V12 engine. Additional changes have been implemented throughout the suspension set up, although Pagani has yet to reveal any official details about these changes.

What we can confirm however, is that the Zonda R Evolution features a dramatically re-designed body with various new aerodynamic aids now being featured on the car. These include additional vents at the front end, including a more aggressively-styled splitter and larger winglets. Furthermore, the rear also features aerodynamic improvements with a second small wing now situated below the larger rear wing, which has also been improved.

We caught wind of the Pagani Zonda R EVO less than two weeks ago and YouTube user, Marchettino, has already managed to capture the special Pagani Zonda on video.

The Zonda R EVO is set to be unveiled next week at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. It will feature new suspensions, while its V12 AMG engine will deliver a total of 771 HP. It looks like this supercar is ready to set a new record at the Nurburgring.

Here’s what Marchettino stated about his video: "At a moment I stopped recording because I felt a bit guilty so I gave some help to my friends that were pushing the car to the showroom. The debut to the EVO will take place in the hills of Goodwood, I’ve been very lucky to see and film it as first."

If you needed more proof that our favorite Youtube user, Marchettino, does an amazing job, here it is: he caught not one, not two, but eleven Pagani models in one place. The video was shot at the 8th Vanishing Point, the secret Pagani event.

A lot of the Paganis presented at the show were Huayra models and this makes the video even better. Also, next to all these impressive number of Paganis, a great number of AMGs were also present. Enjoy the video and let us know if you would have loved to be there!

Our favorite Youtube user, Marchettino, has provided us with yet another tantalizing video! This time, he has caught a Pagani Huayra as it starts up its V12 engine and then does a full throttle acceleration down the road with a wheelspin, followed by a couple of downshifts! There are some pretty amazing shots, but it seems as though that is always the case with Marchettino!

As a reminder, the Pagani Huayra is powered by a 6.0 liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine that delivers an impressive 700 HP and 730 pound-feet of torque. The engine is mated to an X-trac seven-speed sequential transmission and sprints the car from 0 to 60 mph in under three seconds and up to an amazing top speed of 220 mph!

Before anyone gets too excited, the Huayra is limited to only 20 units and will be priced at $1.3 million each.

Few names in the automotive world have such a ring to them as the Pagani Zonda does. The Zonda remained in production for the better part of a decade, and was lucky enough to be offered in a large array of different variants, including the range topping Pagani Zonda 760RS recently ordered by an unknown Chilean businessman.

It’s successor, the Huayra , may not have such a seductive name as the Zonda, but Pagani has promised that it’s a complete evolution from the Zonda. It features a huge array of new features, most predominantly the brand new AMG-sourced 6.0-liter V12 twin turbocharged engine which can pumps out 730HP in stock form. When combined with the light overall weight of the car, the Huayra promises Bugatti Veyron levels of performance.

In their latest road test, EVO magazine became the world’s first magazine to test the Huayra privately, thanks in part to its close affiliation with the brand, as Harry Metcalfe, EVO’s founder actually owns one of the very first Zonda’s produced.

Despite being less than five minutes long, the video displays some incredible driving shots of the Huayra and highlights the active aerodynamics to a level not seen in previous videos of the Huayra.

The journo testing the car continually mentions the new seven-speed sequential transmission and how when it’s warmed up, it’s truly a work of art. However, don’t for one second think the Huayra is perfect, as a few flaws are pointed out during the review.

To kick off our very first Photo of the Week, we have decided to start things off with a bang, with one of the most incredible photos ever captured of what is one of the most expensive supercars ever produced: the 2009 Pagani Zonda Cinque .

If reports are to be believed, only three white Cinque coupes were ever produced, with the remaining two units being bright green and bright orange . Furthermore, every single one of the Cinque coupes produced are reportedly all driving around one of the increasingly-luxurious and expensive regions in the world: Singapore.

Taken by Nicholas TJ.R Photography, the following image shows off the incredibly well-detailed and aerodynamically inspired rear end of this hypercar, which cost a cool $1.3 million when it went on sale in 2009.

As a quick refresher, the 2009 Pagani Zonda Cinque features an AMG-sourced 7.3-liter V12 engine producing 678HP and 575lb-ft of torque which is mated to a six-speed sequential transmission. When combined with the extremely lightweight body and those massive rear tires, the car can launch to 62 mph in just 3.4 seconds and 124 mph in 9.6 seconds before continuing onto a top speed in excess of 220 mph.

About a month ago, Pagani unveiled a pretty cool documentary explaining the technology behind the Huayra . And because people were thoroughly impressed with it, the company decided to offer a new documentary, this time explaining the history of the very successful company.

Parts 1-4 have already been unveiled and talk about the beginnings of the company. Part One talks about Pagani founder Horacio Pagani and reveals a collage of personal photos, while Part Two explains how the company was founded in 1999 and talks about the first vehicle produced by Pagani: the Zonda C12 . Part Three goes into years 2005-2008 of the company and the production of the Zonda F and Part Four handles model year 2009 with the Zonda R . Finally, Part 5 covers the 2009-2011 model years with the Zonda Cinque .

Up until this point, we’ve only been able to show you a couple of low-quality teasers of the Pagani Zonda 760 RS , a car which defines what a supercar should be all about as it’s the most powerful car ever produced up until now. However, today we have something very, very special for you.

Not only have a few incredible pictures of the car been officially released, Pagani owner and Evo Magazine owner Harry Metcalfe was lucky enough to drive this one-off piece of automotive art on some incredible Italian country roads.

The video is yet another one of the Evo Diaries series and is undoubtedly the most exquisite one they have ever done. The test begins off with Harry following the 760 RS in one of just a couple Zonda prototypes, which has evolved since the very first 6.0-liter V-12 up until its current 7.3-liter spec very similar to the unit fitted to the Cinque.

Despite the incredible prototype being extremely unique by itself, the 760 RS is something else entirely. Harry confirms that it cost the Chilean owner 1.6 million pounds or the equivalent of $2.5 ‘Benjamins.’ Nope, your eyes are not tricking you, that is in fact twice the price of the Huayra, and Metcalfe points out that the 760 RS is a very similar car to the Porsche 911 GT3 RS , while the Huayra could be considered as an extreme 911 Turbo.

Metcalfe goes on to confirm in the final seconds of the video that Lewis Hamilton did in fact purchase a 760 dubbed the ‘760 LH’ just like we reported, so hopefully some photos of that will be released in due course.

Pagani ’s latest supercar, the Huayra , will be built at the company’s plant in Modena - about 15 minutes away from Ferrari and Lamborghini. Interesting, no? If you do a little math you will be amazed by the impressive number of supercar you can meet in Modena!

But lets face it: not many of us will have the chance to arrive in the area! In this car we have to be thankful to the guys from Drive who have revealed a pretty impressive video shot inside the Pagani world.

JF Musial explores why this small super car company is setting a new standard for how exotic vehicles should be designed and produced. Interviewed is company founder Horacio Pagani next two his latest creation, the Huayra.

Pagani Zonda F Roadster Clubsport Final Edition

It’s no secret that Formula 1 drivers are some of the most highly paid sportsmen in the world. With some contracts topping $10 million without taking into account individual sponsorships, F1 drivers could literally swim in money. One of the most interesting things about this is that many F1 drivers just drive regular, everyday cars, rather than sports cars as everything feels slow when compared to an F1 car.

However, if reports are to be believed, 2008 world champion Lewis Hamilton may have just purchased a road-car as close to an F1 car as you can get, the Pagani Zonda . And, no not just any old Zonda, but a one-off car built specifically for him reportedly called the 760 LH, and it doesn’t take a genius to work out what the ‘LH’ stands for.

Hamilton’s car is said to be based upon the 760 RS which was recently commissioned and built for a very special Chilean owner. The 760 RS is the most powerful production car Pagani has built to date, even surpassing the Huayra by about 60BHP, pumping out an incredible 760 horsepower. The car ordered by Hamilton differs in one major way to the RS, as it will be built with a traditional manual transmission, leading the McLaren driver to state, “my company car has a paddle-change gearbox, so when I drive for fun, I want a manual.”

It’s unclear just how long Hamilton will have to wait for his brand new hypercar, but considering the Zonda is built completely by hand, he’ll be lucky to have it delivered in the next six months. It’s also worth noting that Horacio Pagani has previously stated that one-off Zonda’s will continued to be made if demand is there, despite the Huayra now being the company’s flagship supercar.
