The Toyota Auris Touring Sports unveiled at the 2012 Paris Auto Show is not only the first station wagon model in the Auris line-up, but it is also the first estate version in the family car market with a full hybrid powertrain. It will go on sale in early 2013.

The new Auris Touring Sports continues the same design language revealed by the Auris Hatchback in early 2012, except that it is 285mm longer and will of course offer increased luggage space. Just like the five-door hatchback, the new estate version will be offered with "Skyview," one of the biggest panoramic sunroofs currently available on the market.

The Toyota Auris Touring Sports will be offered with a choice of two diesel engines – 1.4d and 2.0d – and two petrol engines – 1.33 and 1.6 - as well as Toyota’s Hybrid Synergy Drive system.

While Bugatti didn’t bring an amazing new supercar to the 2012 Paris Auto Show, they did come stocked with their usual one-off edition based on the latest version of the Veyron . This time it’s a Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse painted in a unique Bianco and New Light Blue color scheme.

According to Bugatti, this paint scheme was inspired by the famous Type 37A, which was built in 1928, won a multitude of Grand Prix races in its time, and is now owned by Jay Leno. A very cool "Bianco" paint finish was used for the upper area of the body, including the roof and the air scoops, while "New Light Blue" was used for the lower body panels, including the side skirting, front spoiler, radiator grille frame, and rear apron with diffuser, as well as in the inner surfaces of the wheels and the underside of the automatically extending rear spoiler.

Any Bugatti enthusiast would be crazy not to want to own this beautiful piece of machine, but they’d be even crazier to think it would be available for long. The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse Bianco and New Light Blue has already been sold for a cool $2.5 million, even though the standard model is priced at about $2.2 million. Aside from the unique paint scheme, we just don’t see an extra $300,000 worth of upgrades here.

Suzuki has unveiled the new S-Cross Concept at the 2012 Paris Auto Show. This concept is a preview version of the company’s next-generation C-segment crossover model - the replacement for the current SX4 crossover - set to arrive on the market in 2013.

The production version of the S-Cross will be built with the company’s slogan - "Way of Life!" - in mind and will focus on delivering exceptionally low fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. In fact, Suzuki has promised that it will be amongst the lowest CO2 emitting cars in the crossover C-segment.

The S-Cross concept features a specially created Crystal Green Metallic body color and not by accident. According to Suzuki, the image it evokes is one of "nature in the city and the city in nature" - yet another statement of the promised lowest CO2 emissions.

As everyone expected, Lamborghini ’s teaser video for the 2012 Paris Auto Show was indeed about a special edition Gallardo : the Gallardo LP 570-4 Edizione Tecnica. The Superleggera style spotted in this teaser video previewed the design elements of this special edition which are borrowed from the LP 570-4 Superleggera and the LP 570-4 Spyder Performante .

Special features on the new Edizione Tecnica include a fixed high rear wing and new brakes in carbon-ceramic technology. These two new elements help the car deliver an impressive power to weight ratio of just 2.35, one of the best references in the segment.

The new Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Edizione Tecnica can be ordered in three exclusive color combinations: Nero Nemesis (matte black) body with Arancio Argos (orange) pillars and front air intakes, Bianco Canopus (matte white) body with Arancio Argos pillars and front air intakes, and Arancio Argos body with Nero Nemesis pillars and front air intakes.

The Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Edizione Tecnica will go on sale in November 2012. Prices will be announced at a later date.

Maserati has kept itself busy during the 2012 Paris Motor Show: Not only did they unveil the new GranCabrio MC , but they also announced the names of three much-awaited future Maserati products. The new vehicles will join the company’s line-up in an attempt to hit a sales target of 50,000 units per year by 2015.

The first model to arrive on the market will be the new generation Quattroporte - a sports luxury sedan that will continue the 50-year success story that began in 1963. If rumors are to be trusted, we will see this model in March 2013 at the Geneva Motor Show.

Next, there will be the long rumored baby Quattroporte - a new high-end E segment four-door sedan. The new model will be called Ghibli – a name used on a Gran Turismo car produced between 1966–73 and then from 1992–97. It will arrive on the market a few months after the new generation Quattroporte.

Finally, the production version of the Kubang Concept will be called the Levante. The SUV takes its name from the Via Emilia Levante in Bologna, where the Maserati brothers, almost a century ago, dreamt of the company that today still bears their name. The Levante will be unveiled in 2014 - just in time to celebrate Maserati’s centennial.

After several days of teasing us with what looked to be an all-new Gallardo , Lamborghini has decided to lift the veil off of this beast and give us a look at it. This all-new Lambo, dubbed the Gallardo LP 560-4, made its debut in Paris alongside its slightly upgraded counterpart, the Gallardo 570-4 Edizione Technica.

Overall, the Gallardo’s body will remain intact from last year’s model, but Lambo will be making mild additions to the already sexy body. The real question remains whether Lamborghini actually improved upon its entry-level – if you can really call any Lamborghini an “entry-level car – supercar’s already popular appearance, or were these changes simply unnecessary and counterproductive.

Now with all of the information in hand, we can offer you our full review of this all-new Gallardo and allow you to make an educated decision on it.

Audi has unveiled the new Crosslane Coupe Concept at the start of the 2012 Paris Auto Show. This concept offers a glimpse into the design language that will be found in the Q2 and all future Q models. It was built on a new Multimaterial Space Frame and features one of the most innovative and efficient plug-in hybrid drive systems. It also comes with a removable roof, but we highly doubt this feature will make it to production.

The new Crosslane Coupe Concept features some of the design elements already seen in the e-tron concepts , but with a more aggressive interpretation to make them suitable for a crossover model. These elements include a single-frame grille and trapezoidal headlights using Audi Matrix LED headlight technology, as well as large air intakes that ensure the best cooling for the hybrid system.

The concept is powered by a 1.5-liter three-cylinder TFSI combined with two electric motors for a total output of 177 HP. This power is enough to sprint the car from 0 to 60 mph in just 8.6 seconds and up to a top speed of 113 mph. These are not the best performance numbers out there, but the best part about the setup is that it delivers a money-saving fuel economy of 213.81 US mpg.

The Paris Motor Show is just hours away and we are starting to get things all ramped up. Porsche announced that it will be unveiling an all-new production concept when the show opens up, only to shoot out the official details a couple of hours later. This new concept is dubbed the Panamera Sport Turismo Concept and is slated to compete directly with the Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake .

The concept is supposed to preview a possible Porsche sports car of tomorrow, which would mean that they are not letting go of the idea that spawned the Cayenne and the Panamera: Parents need speed too.

Rumor has it that this model will debut at some point in the 2013 model year, so the concept model that we see here will most likely be almost identical to its production model.

Update 12/11/12: Porsche has released a sweet video outlining the development of the Panamera Sport Turismo Concept and how it came to life. You can see the video after the jump.

British automaker Rolls-Royce will be bringing three special edition models to the 2012 Paris Motor Show , all while paying tribute to the 1925 Paris Exposition, which was the site for the birth of the phrase ’Art Deco.’

The first of these models is for the Rolls-Royce Phantom . Considered the flagship model of the British luxury car brand, the Phantom Art Deco Special Edition has been treated to a bevy of bespoke enhancements, highlighted by a fresh interior that has been dressed with an Arctic White leather treatment and contrasting black accents. On top of that, the interior also gets added goodies like hand-finished stainless steel inlays on the drawers, door cappings, and rear picnic tables.

More than just a showpiece model, the Phantom Art Deco Special Edition is Rolls-Royce’s way of giving customers a peg on what a custom art deco car should look like. The British automaker is even taking it a step further by giving its customers an opportunity to build their own custom art deco cars, with the modifications on the three special edition models serving as inspiration.

As far as the Phantom is concerned, its engine remains intact, which means that you can expect a 6.7-liter V12 engine that produces 453 horsepower and 531 lb/ft of torque to go with a 0-60 mph time of just 5.7 seconds and a top speed of 149 mph.
