Peugeot UK has launched a special edition for its 4007 SUV. Called Sport XS, the new version is on sale at a price of £24,695.

The Sport XS package adds: five-seat configuration with special black leather upholstery, a full exterior Sport styling kit and 18” alloy wheels, chrome side bars, wing mirror covers, door handles and a twin tail pipe extension. Body coloured front lower and rear roof spoilers completes the distinctive exterior. Bluetooth handsfree telephone facility is also a standard feature of 4007 Sport XS.

Automobile tuners Irmscher are most commonly known for tuning Opels and other GM Europe models. With their RC line the tuning company has turned their attention to tuning another Euro-only brand: Peugeot, in particular the largest of the French built vehicles the 4007. The vehicle has been upgraded with a lower front spoiler, metal skid plate under the radiator and a roof spoiler for added visual power. Irmscher also fitted a set of their signature 20 inch Evo-Star design wheels that make this Peugeot stand tall above the rest.

Recently we presented you the Peugeot 407 SW by Irmscher which unveiled the new partnership between the German tuner and the French manufacturer. Today, Peugeot unveiled another vehicle wearing the Irmscher badge, the 4007 SE. The tuning kit cosists in Aero Star Design 19” alloy wheels on Pirelli 235/45 x R19 tyres, a front lip spoiler, rear roof spoiler and twin tailpipe finishers.

All these parts are offered at a price of £600, a good price due to the fact that bought invidually they make a total of £2,950. The parts are also available in four metallic colours: Pearl Black, Arctic Silver, Pilbara Grey and Istria Blue.

Peugeot is entering into the 4 x 4 SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) arena with a new model that is 4.64 m long fitted with a HDi – FAP engine. Its name, 4007, is using the double zero which represents a new concept in the development of Peugeot’s classic range. The 4 represents its size within the Peugeot range and the 7 specifies its generation.
