Peugeot will enter the ADAC Nurburgring 24 hour race with a racing version of their newest addition to the line-up, the RCZ Coupe. The race is scheduled for the weekend of May 15th-16th, the same weekend that Peugeot celebrates the bicentenary of its manufacturing adventure. The Peugeot RCZ 24H is powered by a 2.0 l HDi FAP engine developing 200 h.p. and will be racing in the D1T category (Diesel engine between 1.7 l and 2.0 l cc). We doubt that will be enough to compete against Porsche who has dominated the 24H race for the past four years. From 2007-2009, Porsche has competed with their 997 GT3 hosting a 3.6L flat-six engine and producing 415hp. Press release after the jump. Ugly as sin, but I’m more than positive it will turn some hell a lap times. It’s crazy how much the engine tech and power levels of these cars have changed over the last few years.
Most import car companies are opening jobs in the USA and for some reason you think that’s a bad thing. We are in a global market now. Most domestics are built in Canada or Mexico with parts from China and if you call for support you will talk to some one in India.
Looks it has some little bit similarity to the TT but I think the longer boot looks good for a Peugeot. Hopefully this car goes with performance which a race car really needs.
I like it, this car really looks different in other cars and the structure is kinda look attractive, so gorgeous really they did a good job.
It actually looks really good but i thought it was gonna be a Nissan 370Z fighter? too bad it only has 200hp. I would liked to see have atleast 270hp, anyword on price? Oh, and this does 0-100kmh in 7.2s.
