As a response to Opel’s recently launched RAK e Concept, Peugeot has unveiled the VELV Concept in Paris. The VELV is a fuel-efficient electric three-wheeler that offers interior room for three and weighs only 1433 lbs. The VELV concept delivers a total output of 26 HP and has an autonomy of 62 miles. The concept can hit a top speed of 68 mph and consumes only 85 Wh per kilometer, which means that its environmental footprint is equivalent to that of a train trip. The concept indicates in real time the area that can be covered based on the driving range and identifies charging stations that can be reached with the remaining charge. The concept is aimed at corporate fleets, traditional rental companies, and self-service schemes like Autolib’, second-car buyers and numerous customers who want a better option for getting around town. It has been designed by Peugeot and Citroen in cooperation with a research laboratory who have joined forces to meet the mobility challenges of tomorrow. .

VELV. I find it strange at some points. It looks like a bug because of it doors, but its cute.
 Car manufacturers are really pushing to make an impressive and unique electric car, like this VELV concept, though I don’t think that it will be going to be succeed for the fact that it is one of the unreliable cars nowadays.
 The car is so unique with its exterior and interior detailing together with its amazing platform! I think it’s not a car, it’s a robot that can transform anytime...anywhere! the concept is very futuristic and weird though very impressive car.
 It seems that it would already fly anytime.  Anyway, just like them, I also admire this concept for the fact that it is so unique on its platform. I only hope that it would not be an electric vehicle.
 I thought it was an alien vehicle!  Well, I really love the unique platform of this one, and it seems that it would fly any moment because on its design! Anyway, I will surely be looking forward to seeing this soon.
 I hope that they would really a plan to put this one on the production, I would love to see this one on the road, so unique and cute! anyway, when will be the debut of this one?
 This one will be going to a traditional rental companies’ car? Is that really true? Well, I just can’t believe that this concept that had a unique and impressive platform will only be going to a rental company car.

 Unique platform indeed but it is so unreliable. I wonder if they had any plan to put this on production even on its début, but I must say that I really love to see this in person.
