At Essen Motor Show, H&R presented the Mission 400 Plus prototype, a 1054 hp sports car based on the Porsche 997. The intention of H&R is to break the world street-legal sports car top speed record. The Mission 400 Plus has a top speed of more than 248 mph.

Porsche 997 facelift - images


A new facelift for the 997 will be available in 2008. There is no big difference from the current model: a slightly more aggressive front bumper, gaining larger intakes reminiscent of the new Turbo item. The rear bumper is tweaked, the new rear light clusters will be LED items, with their lense cutting into the bumper.

Porsche 997 Turbo customized by Gemballa


Gemballa has just released the first info about it’s customized version for the Porsche 997 Turbo. It seems that the 480 hp of the ussual Turbo 997 was not enough so they decided to update the engine to 550, 600, 650 and 750 hp.
