When trying to get the Carrera GT to its limit, DP Motorsport realized that a bit more downforce on the front axles would have been helpful.
Therefore they have adapted the rear spoiler top part from the racing version to the Carrera GT. The wing is flexible and adjustable in 7 positions in order to suit the drivers expectations. DP Motorsport is also offering a matching frontlip to achieve more downforce on front axle.

Last week, the last Carrera GT was assembled at the assembly line in Leipzig. The 460000 euros model was a really big success for Porsche. Since 2004, Porsche has built 1282 units.
The GT was meant to be a competitor for the Le Mans, but the initial plan has been changed. Based on the GT1, the Carrera GT should have been replaced the 1980 959.
