For the first time since 1977, the Porsche 911 Carrera now comes in two power versions with engines varying in size: the “basic" 911 Carrera displacing 3.6 litres and developing maximum output of 239 kW (325 bhp) at 6800 rpm, and the 911 Carrera S displacing 3.8 litres and with maximum output of 261 kW (355 bhp) at 6600 rpm. The 3.8-litre flat-six develops its maximum torque of 400 Newton-metres (295 lb-ft) at 4600 rpm, accelerating the Carrera S in 4.8 seconds from 0-60mph and ensuring a top speed of 293 km/h or 182 mph.

At Nardo, 9ff has setted a new world record for the road-legal convertibles. They have competed agains 16 other tuners.
The 911 Cabrio T-6 made a maximum output of 780 bhp, which has proved to be enough to leave others in the dust. The official speed record for road-legal convertibles now stands at 236.5 mph.
Porsche designed the Carrera RS as a basic model for motor racing. This model was available both as a touring version and as a sporting package. The appearance of the RS was marked by its rear spoiler and emblem at the side. With its rebored engine the car had a displacement of 2.7 litres. The rear wheels and tyres were wider than at the front.

Porsche tunner 9ff will release a tuning kit for Porsche Carrera GT. The new kit will have 300 hp more than the current model, so the Carrera will now have an output of 912 hp.
The new kit will feature: 2 bigger turbo, 2 camshafts, 2 exhaust manifolds, 9ff muffler with valve system and end-pipes, metal catalytic converter, air filter + air hose + air box, ECU upgrade
Carrera 4 or Carrera 4S, Coupe or Convertible: Rinspeed is offering its aerodynamic package Indy for immediate deliveries. The original front skirt is replaced by a complete Rinspeed front skirt which enhnaces the aerodynamic down force. Side skirts let the 997 appear lower and more dynamic.
