LOMA is best known for its work on the C6 Corvettes->ke1280, but recently the German company has decided to turn its sights on Porsche. Because of the company’s location, all of the parts in the kit are made in Germany using carbon fiber, which is something a Porsche owner will prefer.

The 911 GT3 RSR is one of the most awesome Porsches ever built, but it’s not built to handle daily driving nor is it priced for the average Porsche buyer. To help satisfy your urge to own one, LOMA decided to make a kit to allow for you to turn your 997 into an RSR.

The 911 retains the stock engine that produces at least 325 horsepower, but LOMA offers a sports exhaust system to give the car more of a racecar soundtrack. The suspension and brakes also stay the same as the stock car, so the car doesn't ride any lower than stock unless you decide to lower the car yourself.

The Front View

The front view is much more purposeful than the standard 997. Much of this is thanks to the flared wheel arches and race-inspired bumper. The bumper features a font spoiler that helps to increase the downforce on the car when driving at high speeds.

The headlights and side markers are retained from the standard car and look right at home on the RS1. The lights go into the housing in the new side fenders and the front bumper.

The Profile View

From the profile view, you can see the side fenders with their bulging wheel arches. You also notice the rear deck lid that features a ducktail spoiler along with a large rear wing that helps give it a race ready look. While it looks like a race car, it retains the silhouette of the rear-engine sports car.

The Rear View

The rear is highlighted by a large rear wing and ducktail deck lid. It also has a new rear bumper that continues the race-inspired look, thanks to its brake cooling vents. From the back you will also notice the wider wheel flairs that allow for much wider tires.

To really give the car the true race look, LOMA added its own sports exhaust system. The system has two center exhaust pipes and they look very close to the actual racecar’s exhaust.

Wheels

Thanks to the wider wheel arches, a wider tire can be fitted to the car for enhanced grip and handling. With the kit on the car, the German sports car is a full 5 inches wider.
