Porsche unveiled today the GT3 RSR, the most most powerful race car based on the Porsche 911. The most distinguishing feature of the new GT3 RSR is the front end which received major improvements to the aerodynamics. The majority of innovations however are hidden under the weight-optimised body. The GT3 RSR is powered by a 3.8-litre boxer engine that delivers 465 hp (342 kW) at 8,000 revs per minute and a maximum torque of 430 Nm at 7,250 revs. The price of the GT3 RSR is 349,800 Euro plus VAT. Technical Description Porsche GT3 RSR (2008)Engine 4 comments: Porsche GT3 RSR juan9994 (94) Posted on 12.19.2009 I don’t think that V8 will do anything because first, Porsche has always used boxer engines, and will most certenly stay that way... second, they are PORSCHE, they made cars accelerate 0-100km in less than 4 seconds and top speeds over 190 mph...... That takes some true genius.
uberC2S (6686) - Posted on 02.15.2008 V 8’s, next thing you’ll want are "push rods". Nothing better than beating a vette off the line and telling him all we have is a "flat six", this thing is sick, lets see if Ferrari can keep us this year.
