Porsche tuners are a dime a dozen, but good Porsche tuners come in much less numbers. So how can you tell which are the good, the bad, and the ugly? Well, for starters, you take a look at their experience. For example, Protomotive Engineering has over 25 years of experience in tuning Porsche models and the US-based Porsche tuner even claims that they are “The World’s Fastest Porsche Tuner.” That leads us to the next step of finding a good Porsche tuner; taking a look at what they have done to see if it is any good. As proof to their claim, Protomotive have created a package for the Porsche 997 Turbo that will take the standard 3.8 liter flat-six engine to a staggering 900hp from 500! After installing modified GT turbochargers, K&N air filters, a custom exhaust, a set of 80lb fuel injectors, custom headers, and an ECU remap, the engine can now almost double its output. In order to handle this impressive amount of power, the 997 Turbo has been fitted with a new suspension system supplied by Ruf and a FABSPEED air intake. There is also a new of set of wheel spacers and custom rims that come with a two-tone finish and use a multi-spoke design. The car’s exterior also receives some additions with a new front spoiler, wing, grill, and side air inlets all made of carbon fiber. The interior is splattered with red and the center console and door panels are also made of carbon fiber. Somehow I agree that the purchase of a 200.000 dollars car is huge, and we should think of others, but ain’t this baby a beauty?
I’m getting ultra-bored by the german products and all that crappy concept of being "so best", etc.. In the end they are overpriced and overluxurious. A car should get you safely from A to B. I doubt that a car that needs 10s to go from 0 to 200km.h is SAFE! dang that looks too expensive kits, I really want to have those kits to my porsce 911. I wonder where could i buy one of those.
Looks more like a norma 911 turbo to me, but why did they used a red interior here? it looks kinda sports car for S..
