2009 Porsche 997 Turbo 750 by Protomotive

No, you are not seeing double. We did in fact feature some of these same photos a few days ago when we brought you Promotive’s 900 HP package for the997 Turbo , but pop open the hood of these cars and what you’ll find is a completely different setup. While the previous package for the Porsche pumped out 900 racing ponies, this new package by Arkansas-based Porsche tuner, Protomotive, delivers a much tamer 750hp. Okay, tame may not be a suitable word for an engine that produces 750hp, but this engine setup does provide for a more leisurely ride than the first one, so the use is validated.

In order to obtain the 750 HP output, the tuner is offering less drastic modifications with a modified VTG, custom engine tune, custom transmission tune, TUBI exhaust, and FABSPEED air intake. Next to the engine update, Protomotive also fixed up the exterior with a new wing, air side inlets, new mirror caps, a new front spoiler, grills, and gas cap, all made in carbon fiber.

Carbon fiber is also offered for the interior with the back seat cover, A/C surround, center console, and door panels covered in the stuff.

New performance numbers for the Porsche 997 Turbo haven’t been announced yet, but we can’t imagine that a modified 3.8 liter flat-six engine producing 250 more horsepower than its standard brother would make for a small jump in performance.

@Dennissonmiller, Do you mean that 911 is much powerful compare to this one? Then why do the made the 997? BTW, i do believe that 911 has an awesome powerful engine.

The Porsche 911 is perfection, absolutely superb, second to none.

lol unless your running from a sledgehammer.....damn if i had the money to get this car i would certainly drop 18k for the 750hp package because that other package would be suicide for myself and my wallet.

well for me the red interior looks great specally when added with black thread and interior lights such as dash guages and lights.

IMO GT-R way far better than the Porsche.. It cheaper and fast plus you can hack the system to gain more speed and performance.

Personally If I was going to spend 85 grand or more on a car I wouldn’t base My only decision on lap times of a professional driver. I’d buy the car that’s fast, comfy, and fits my style and personality.

That red interior blowed me away! In sunny arab states it will make you even hotter, literally @-)

Porsche is what arabs were missing...

If the standard engine makes around the 480hp on your dyno (which I have seen before on Dynojets ie whp seems to equate to FWHP) then surely the tuned version is also an approximation of FWHP ie your tuned engines make 700hp (not to be sniffed at )

Visible modifications at the front are a new front lip providing higher downforce at the front axle. The front wheels are now wider with the rims growing from 11 to 12 inches.

Lovely does it? but like many other said, the red interior looks aweful. I think Beige color would be greater than Red. but the only problem is you need to take good care of the interior.

Saudi Arabian plate, definitely a Saudi owner. Few days ago you guys showed a Porsche with Kuwait plates on them... and I have heard the Qatar will buy Porsche and move its headquarter to Qatar.. Now, is Porsche loved that much by Arabs?!
